it's from the start
i started to accept
this paper heart
written with scribbles
of what our past
has yet to say
drawn with white space
we both feared
to impartbut it's in the end
where i experienced
the unlikeliness of
what i adore
i then knew what's
worse than the
fragility of such a heart
and it's not having it torn
nor having it broken
but having it wetted
by her tears—
now forlorn... forgotten
