Part 9: Promises Broken

Riele's POV- Jace and I get to the hotel and head up to our room.

"I'm going to grab snacks for our movie marathon" I say and head downstairs to the vending machine.

I get downstairs and grab a whole bunch of crap.

I then get a text from Blake.

Blake😊💚: Hey, wanna hang?

Riele💕: sorry, jace and I are having a movie marathon. how about we hang after set tomorow?

Blake😊💚: Fine with me! But Riele, can you promise me something?

Riele💕: of course.🙃

Blake😊💚: Promise you'll never leave me, or cheat on me. I just love you much, and I just want to apologize again for earlier. I was a jerk. I love you.💗

Riele: i promise, and i love you too💙

Blake😊💚: See you later babe😘

Riele💕: bye❤️💗

I said it. I finally said it. I love you.

Just something about that didn't feel right about it.

I head back upstairs to Jace laying on the bed. And I lay beside him.

"Ready for this marathon" I ask.

"Of course, I bet you won't be able to stay awake" Jace says.

"Uh-huh I see. Is there a bet going on Norman?" I say smirking.

"Sure is Downs, the person who stays up the latest gets spa ticket over there" says Jace.

"What, I thought there was two?" I asks

"Nope, so it's a bet. Let's shake on it" Jace says holding out his hand.

"Fine" I say and shake Jace's hand.

I go and put the movie "Zoolander" in.

I admit, I am pretty tired, but I want that spa day, and I want to be Jace at something.

"So, how's you and Bela" I ask eating candy.

"Pretty great" he says.

"How's you and Blake" he asks.

"Pretty great" I say.---

During the second movie Jace starts to doze off.

I want this to be a fun bet so I wake him up.

He wakes up and we bump heads.

"Ow" I say.

"Sorry" he says sitting up.

"It's okay, even though you have a pretty big head" I say laughing.

He rolls his eyes.

I turn to look at him watching the movie.

He laughs at a part and it makes me smile.

He turns to look at me.

"Jace, can I ask you something?" I ask.

"How do you know when you're in love?" I ask.

"Why are you asking me?" He asks.

"Well, BlakeandIweretextingeachotherandhesaidhelovesmeand-" I get cut off by Jace smashing his lips onto mine.

It felt so good I couldn't pull away.

I then remember, I promised Blake to never leave him, and to never cheat on him.

I guess promises are meant to be broken.

Jace's POV- I couldn't take it anymore.

I just had to kiss Riele. She just looked so beautiful and soft.

But then I remember I promised Isabela to never leave her and to never cheat on her.

But I guess promises are meant to be broken.
