Never Even Realized (JAELE)

Part 20: Noah.

Riele's POV- I can't believe it.

It's Noah and I haven't seen him in forever.

I run up to hug him.

"Oh my gosh I've missed you so much!" I say.

"Right back at Ya" Noah  says.

"What are you doing here in LA?" I ask

"To see you of course!" He says.

Noah and I were in a movie together awhile ago and we became really close.

I see Jace with a frown on his face. I can tell he's jealous.

"Oh Noah, this is Jace and Jace this is Noah" I say.

They shake hands.

"Oh yeah, I've seen you on tv" Noah says to Jace

Jace nods with a fake smile

"Nice to meet you. Okay Riele we gotta go" Jace says quickly.

"Um Jace, do you mind if Noah and I hang for awhile. I'll be by your place later though" I say.

"Um Yeah sure. See you guys later" he says glumly.

Jace starts walking the other way. I want Jace to trust me. Noah and I are just friends.

Jace's POV- Everything was going fine until that Noah dude showed up.

Noah better keep his hands off Riele.

But this does give me more time to plan our date.

I get back to my apartment to find an envelope by my door.

I open it up and it's a very cool looking card.

"You are cordially invited to the biggest and hottest L.A. party of the year. Wear your best neon clothes. Join us April 30th. Don't miss out- Club Xenon"

I guess I will go. Only if Riele goes.

I throw the card somewhere and start writing down things about out date.

Riele's scavenger hunt is going to be amazing.

Her stops are going to be all of the places we've explored together. I can't wait for her reaction to the surprise too.

Then I get a text from Riele.

Riele❣: Noah and I are going to see a movie wanna join?

Jace: Nah I'm good, I'll let you two catch up.

Riele❣:K, see you later💙

I turn off my phone and start brainstorming again and I hear a knock at the door.

I open the door to see Isabela. Why Lord why.

Riele's POV- Noah and I are having a good time.

We decide to go watch a movie and I wanted Jace to come because Noah kept making me unsure.

He kept walking so close to me and kept touching me on purpose.

I admit we did have feelings for back then but I'm over it, I don't know if he is. Its been like 5 years.

We get to the movies and we pick some random movie.

I felt so uncomfortable because he kept scooting close to me and kept touching my hand.

It was in the middle of the movie and he touched my thigh.

"Um, I'm gonna go to the bathroom" I say.

I quickly leave the theater and I go sit in the lobby to call an uber.

I have to get out of here. I hate leaving Noah like this but it's just so awkward.

My uber comes 10 minutes later and I'm so glad Noah didn't come looking for me.

I sent him a text saying I was sick to cover it up.

Thank God for uber.
