Part 11: Hearts Broken

Riele's POV- After my date with Blake I meet Jace in the spa room.

We were the only ones in there. Perfect time to talk to him.

"Hey Jace" I say climbing into the hot tub next to him.

"Hey, how'd you get in here?" He asks.

"I bought a ticket after you cheated" we both chuckle and it fell to complete silence.

"We need to talk" I say playing around with the water.

"What about?" Jace asks

"Us.." I trail off

"Riele, we can talk about this later"

"No Jace, we are going to talk right now"

"Jace, we  can't do this, I can't do this. I am being a bad person, I am hurting Blake and Blake and I are in love." I squeezed those last words out, and I had a huge lump in my throat.

Jace had tears in his eyes.

"Oh come on Riele, you are not  in love with that jerk" Jace says.

"Blake is not a jerk, we are in love and there's nothing you can do to change that" I say getting mad.

"Okay Riele, fine then. I guess if we were really friends you wouldn't be lying to me right now. Bye Riele, I hope you had a great birthday. I'm going home" Jace says leaving the hot tub.

"No Jace wait!" I yell at him, but he's already gone.

Tears start falling and I am just sitting there.

I can't believe what I did. I broke Jace's heart.

Jace's POV- I can't believe this.

Riele, she broke me.

Broke my heart.

She is not in love with Blake, she can't be.

I don't know where these feelings came from, they just pop out of nowhere, and it hits me like a bus.

I'm in love with Riele.

I guess I never even realized.

I always have been, and now it's too late.

I ruined our friendship.

I just want to get out of NYC and go back to LA.

Guess I'm not doing the movie either.

Oh and Isabela, I'm ending it with her.

I'm done with people, and I'm done with myself.
