Henry

**Paul's P.O.V.**
"Well hello Rayleigh. Thought you could just leave did you?" I heard a male's voice say.
"Henry......" Ray began to say and then she started to fall. I ran up to her just in time to catch her, she was out cold.
Michelle ran over to us. "Sissy!" She grabbed her hand put her other hand on her face. "Wake up, Sissy."
Sue came over and knelt beside Michelle and was checking Ray's pulse.
"It's faint. We need to get her inside." Sue told me.
"She is not going anywhere, except back with me." The guy, Henry said.
"No!" Michelle yelled at him, standing up in front of us. "You are mean and did bad things to my sissy! We are never going back with you."
He walked up to her with his hand raised. "Why you little..." Before he could swing his hand down, Seth grabbed his arm.
"You better leave before something bad happens to you. And you best be glad I stopped you or something very bad would have happened to you. I suggest you leave now." Seth told him in a low voice.
"I am not leaving without them. They are mine until they are 18."
"If you don't leave now, you wont be around long enough to see nightfall, let alone when they turn 18." I told him, starting to feel myself shake. Jared ran up behind me.
"Dude, chill. She's in your arms. You need to calm down." He whispered in my ear.
By now everyone was surrounding us. "I called Carlisle. He said they were on their way here." Emily told us, quietly so this Henry dude couldn't hear. "I told them what Michelle said and so Edward is going to read his mind to figure out just how 'mean' he is." She while pointing to Henry.
I picked Ray up and carried her into Emily's house and laid her on the couch. I stayed with her until I heard tires screech and then I smelt a horrible smell and knew the Cullen's were here. "Emily, will you stay with her while I go figure what's going on out there?" Emily nodded her and sat down where I had previously been sitting and placed a wet rag on Ray's forehead.
I walked out the front door and stood by Seth, who had Michelle in his arms. Michelle reach for me so I took her in my arms. "Is sissy OK?" She asked me with tears in her eyes.
"Of course she is baby girl. Your sissy is very strong." I told her.
She laid her head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear. "Please don't make us go back with him. Please Paully."
"Never." I kissed her head, then I turned to him. "What did you do to them? What do you plan on doing to them when you have them back?"
"I did nothing wrong. I provided them with a house and food, that's all I plan on doing again."
"He's lying." Edward and Alice said at the same time. "He use to beat Ray and he raped her." Edward said. I felt myself start to shake and then I felt Seth take Michelle from me. "He plans on making her pay for leaving him. First he plans on killing the babies and then he plans on beating her and for not keeping silent, he wants to beat Michelle too." Alice told us. Sue grabbed Michelle out of Seth's arms and took her inside. I knew Seth was shaking too and we were both on the verge on transforming. Jared, Embry, Quil and Jake ran up to us and pushing us back and into the woods. As soon as we were out of sight we all changed.
"Calm down, now." Jared said. "I know your pissed, but Sam is calling Charlie and reporting him. He is going go to jail for child abuse and rape."
"He should be dead!" I yelled at him.
"I know but you wouldn't be doing any good by going to jail for murder." Jake said.
"You need to change back and get in there with your imprints." Jared said to us.
Seth and I changed back and grabbed some clothes that had been hidden in a tree trunk. We ran towards the house and inside. Ray was sitting up and Michelle was on her lap. I walked over to them, sat on he ground in front of them, and wrapped my arms around them.
"How are you doing?" I asked Ray. "Are you okay? Why did you faint like that?"
"I uhh- I forgot to take my Iron pill this morning and with the shock of seeing him again, it was too much." She told me quietly I would not have been able to hear if I had been human.
"How did you forget? You take it every morning it should have been routine." I told her.
"This morning was not like a normal day. My mind was on the party and trying to make sure I had Michelle and myself ready to go shopping and then to come here. So it wasn't a normal routine day." She told me, I could tell she was a little annoyed. "I know I made a mistake, I don't need you to remind me." She said calmly. She wouldn't meet my eyes. "Seth can you please take us home? And thank you everyone for throwing her a party it was lovely. Sorry it was cut short. But if you will excuse us, we should be leaving."
"Yeah sure. Just let me check and make sure he's gone." While he was gone, she gathered up their things.
"Emily is it OK, if I come and get her presents later?"
"Of course or Sam could bring them now. I'm sure he won't mind." Emily told her, while looking at Sam.
"Sure I can." Sam said and then began grab the presents, after Seth came back and said it was clear. Seth grabbed the rest of what Sam couldn't then the four of them left. Nobody said anything until we heard the car start up and leave.
"Why did you get loud with her, Paul?" Emily asked me. "We all make mistakes from time to time. And on top of that her abusive step-father comes around and scares her tremendously. She needed soothing, not yelling at her. I don't think she is going to be very talkative with you for a couple of days. You need to think before you just react, sometimes." Emily said and went up stairs.
Everyone else just stayed silent and I left to go clear my head.

**RAY'S P.O.V.**
For the next few days Ray double checked everything: the locks, the roads, her job, the store. Henry finding them was horrible, it meant they had to leave. Ray didn't want to leave and she was pretty sure Michelle didn't either, but she had to think of their safety first. After a week of constantly looking over her shoulder, Ray began to research places; Texas, Maryland, and Montana were her top three choices.
Ray has also been avoiding everyone but Sue and Seth this past week. Sue asked her to dinner tomorrow and Ray knows that everyone else is going to be there. I have an ultrasound today because I missed it last week. I was going to find out what I was having. I was excited and nervous because I had to start completely over soon, this time I was five months pregnant with twins and had a four year old.
