Lisa's POV
one week later
Mom, dad and our brothers are coming home today. The little ones will finally meet Liane.
They know about her. We told them her story but they still don't know that we've got her back.
"You excited to see mom and dad and our little brothers?" I asked Liane.
"I don't really know." Liane typed. She sighed.
"It's okay sweetie. They're kind and sweet, you guys will get along." I said, holding her hands.
Just then the front door slightly opened. We can't see if anyone's outside so I asked Amy to open the door wider. She did and it revealed mom, dad and our brothers.
"Mom! Dad!" we all shouted.
Liane covered her ears.
"Sorry sweetie." I whispered.
"Guys I know we're all excited to see them all again but look." I said loud enough for everyone to hear. I pointed at Liane.
Her knees are brought up to her chest. Her face is hidden and she's still covering her ears.
They all rushed to Liane. Except mom, dad and the boys of course because they have no idea what's happening.
"Lia are you okay?" Christina asked.
Liane looked up. She scoot closer to me then slowly nodded. I wrap my arms around her.
"We're sorry Lia, we just got so excited." Kath said.
They all apologized to her until dad cleared his throat.
"What is going on?" dad asked.
They're still standing in the doorway.
"Ready to meet them?" I asked Lia. She slowly nodded.
We stood up. Liane hid behind me. I don't know why but everytime someone Liane doesn't know comes in the house, she gets scared and hides.
I think it's because of her nightmare where her foster mom came in the house and killed me.
"Mom, dad, boys... Liane's back." I said.
Liane kind of showed herself to them then hid again.
"Don't be scared sweetie." I whispered.
Liane nodded then showed herself. She stood next to me, hugging my arm. I think she's still scared.
"Lise is she scared of us?" Joey asked.
"Kind of Joe, she just gets terrified when people she doesn't know come in the house." I said.
"Why?" Christian asked.
"Let's move on so you guys can get to know each other." Christina said.
They nodded and went in. The others helped them with their bags. I mouthed Christina a "thank you" for saving me from Christian there.
We sat in the living room. Mom and dad sat across us (Liane and I)
"Can you please give your parents a hug?" Mom asked Liane.
Liane looked at me. I looked back at her.
"Go ahead sweetie." I said with a smile.
Liane nodded then gave mom and dad a quick hug. She immediately sat back down beside me.
"Is something wrong?" Dad asked.
"Uhm Liane's just afraid of people she doesn't know coming in the house." I said.
"Why? Did something happened?" Mom asked.
"Sweetie, go to your room first." I said.
Liane nodded then went to her room. Lauren accompanied her.
"Mind telling us how you found Liane or how she found you?" Mom asked.
"Okay.. I bumped into her one day and had the feeling that she's Liane without actually knowing how she looked like. I brought her to the hospital because something happened to her. Then we got close to her and told her that we're her real family. She's shocked when she found out but she decided to stay here with us because she understood your reason." I said.
"Why did you brought her to the hospital?" Nick asked.
"She just had her operation that day- ear operation. She's not allowed to be in places where there's too much noise. The place we're in that day has too much noise. That caused her too much pain then she blacked out so I brought her to the hospital." I explained.
Mom, dad and the little boys asked us more questions then we decided to rest. I went straight to Liane's room. I knocked then peaked my head inside.
I found her and Lauren asleep in each other's arms. They look so cute. I closed the door quietly. I went to mom and dad's room. They need to see that.
I knocked on their door. Dad opened the door.
"Mom, dad, you need to see this." I said. They both gave me confused looks.
"Follow me." I said then they followed me to Liane's room.
I opened the door for them to see Lauren and Liane.
"I can tell that they're close." Mom said. I nodded.
"Is Liane close to all of you?" Dad asked.
"She's close to Christina and Laur. Dani, kind of. Kath and Amy, not at all. She's closest to me." I said. They nodded.
"Okay. We'll have bible sharing tomorrow, don't forget to wake up early." Mom said. I nodded.
"We're going to sleep, goodnight Lise." Dad said. They both kissed my forehead.
"Goodnight mom, goodnight dad." I said then they went to their room.
I walked to Liane and Lauren, kissed their foreheads then place the blanket on top of them. I then went to my room.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face then went through my phone. I drifted off to sleep a couple of minutes later.
