"Well I see you've made yourself at home here." Sebastian was leaning on the doorframe with his arms crossed, his eyes looking Clary up and down, "Do you like the clothes? Valentine had gotten them for Jocelyn but for obvious reasons, they have remained untouched. I see they fit you perfectly." He had a fairly chipper voice considering he had just walked in on her snooping in his room.

"I- Yeah they fit, thank you. Sorry I got-I got lost." She tried to sound innocent and held her fist tightly around the ring in her hand, hoping he didn't see it.

He raised his eyebrow in disbelief. "You got lost and ended up in my bed?" A smirk danced across his face and she despised him for it. It was obvious that she was lying, but she didn't know what else to say. She didn't have to think of anything though, because he continued, "I see you found your ring. I found it in the hallway last night and didn't know if it was yours so I kept it in here until I could ask. Did Jace get it for you?" It was obvious he was lying too, but she didn't care, she had the ring back.

"Yeah, he got it for me as a gift." She faked a smile and slid the ring on her finger as Sebastian came over and leaned on the bedframe.

"That's sweet; he always was the more thoughtful one. Valentine always loved him more than me." He looked down at his feet and looked almost vulnerable again. It was odd to see Sebastian look, well, human. "Anyways," he said abruptly standing up straight, "I'm sorry I took it, you should hold onto it. But you should come back downstairs and join Jace and I." And with one last smile, he walked back towards the hall, gesturing for Clary to follow. With a sigh of relief she stood up and strode out of the room on his heels.

Sebastian barreled down the staircase calling to Jace, "Found her. My poor sister got lost and ended up in my room." He laughed and Jace looked at him confused, then directed his gaze at Clary.

"Clary, babe, there are only 3 rooms." She couldn't help but chuckle at the pity in his voice as if he was genuinely concerned about her navigation abilities.

"I was just exploring, I didn't know whose room I was in though." She smiled as his expression turned to one of amusement and she took a seat on the stool next to him. He was working on his plate of eggs without a care in the world, as if he was entirely content being here.

"So did you see my room?" Jace's face lit up when she nodded. "I was hoping you could stay there with me. If you want to of course, although," He gestured down at his body, "I don't see why you wouldn't." She rolled her eyes with a smile and opened her mouth to respond when she heard Sebastian cut in harshly.

"She has her own room, Jace," Quickly regaining his calm and collected composure, he added "The large master bedroom is yours to stay in, Clarissa. All of the clothes are for you as well."

Rather than upset either of them, she simply nodded with a smile, "Is there any more coffee?" Sebastian simply nodded and pointed at the pot on the counter as he lifted his own coffee mug up to his lips.

"I was thinking," he paused, taking a sip of the warm rich liquid, "We should go explore the city today. Which one today, brother?" Clary shuddered at the word brother. She had associated that word with Jace for too long and the pain it brought her. Although she knew what he meant, Jace and Sebastian, or Johnathon rather, were both raised by Valentine, she didn't like hearing it regardless.

Jace seemed to ponder it a bit before stating with a smile, "How about London? You always wanted to see England, didn't you Clary?" She smirked into her coffee. He was referring to the incident in the Seelie Court when the Queen had them kiss when they thought they were siblings in front of the Alec, Isabelle, and Simon.

Think of England if you want, he had said.

Not that she had ever been, but she wouldn't mind seeing it. Plus, it would be nice to get out of the weird and unfamiliar apartment.

"Sounds great. It will be chilly though, you might want to go change. We'll meet back here in an hour to leave." Sebastian smiled and pushed off from the counter. "Oh, and Clary? Your room is straight ahead at the top of the stairs, in case you find yourself lost again." She looked to see him with a taunting smirk on his face and she couldn't help but smile back, tossing a roll at him. He ducked and laughed, jogging up the stairs and disappearing onto the second floor.

Clary had just gotten out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel, walking back into the large room that was originally meant for Valentine and Jocelyn. But seeing that Valentine was now dead and Jocelyn would never be by his side, it was vacant for her. Sebastian had even tried to make it seem more like home for her. He had gotten her a sketchpad and some pencils and gotten rid of any pictures of their parents. Their parents. It was so weird to think about it, that he was her brother and they were both of their parents. She sauntered over to the closet and looked through the racks of clothes, pulling out some jeans, a black long sleeved V-neck and an olive green heavy jacket. Pulling her curls into a loose bun and sliding on some gray ankle boots, she headed out the door. She ran into Jace outside in the hallway. He had his classic look of dark jeans, black boots, a white V-neck and a leather jacket and looked handsome as always. She couldn't suppress her smile when his characteristic smirk flashed across his face. He held his hand out for her and she took it eagerly. As they descended the stairs she saw Sebastian leaning on the back of the couch in dark jeans, a thick black sweater and a cream colored scarf wrapped around his neck.

"Are you two ready?" He seemed almost too eager to go, but then again, so was Clary. She had actually had been excited to go out into the city with the two of them, which was strange considering just that morning she was wary about the entire situation. She pushed the thoughts out of her head and nodded as the three of them stepped out of the door that had appeared in the wall, Sebastian first followed by herself and Jace.
