We went home, after the diner.
Jack pulled me into the room, and I let him slowly pull his shirt over his head, and drop his pants. He then moved on to my shirt, and my pants. He sat down on the edge of the bed, and looked out at the darkening sky.
"Pill?" I asked.
He nodded, looking scared, but ready.
I went out to the kitchen and dug around in the top cupboards until I found them. I brought the little bag back to the bed, and took one out.
"Here baby."
He took it from my hand, and picked up his soda from the diner. Jack swallowed, and I left to put the pills away.
"Don't go. Please." He gasped. "I'm scared."
"I'll be right back. I have to put them away." I ran to put the pills away, and got back, slipping under the covers next to him, and staring at him.
"I love you Mark..."
"I love you too kitten." I ran and hand over his face, brushing his hair out of his eyes.
He was out. I turned away, and settled down myself, listening to his deep, steady breaths.
