When The World Crumbles (Sequel To Why Me?)

Chapter 14

Sorry writing has been so so slow. You know i love you and i hate not writing but im not in a great possition to write at the moment.

Chapter 14

A nurse disrupted our silent state.

"Im so sorry to disturb you. I just wanted to ask if you would like to visit your little boy before you leave?" She asked softly.

I looked down to Sky who was already looking back up at me. She nodded.

"Are you sure?" I asked quietly.

"I have to see him. I know i will regret it if i dont." She said sitting up wiping her wet cheeks and slowly standing.

I took her hand and wrapped my arm around her waist as she limped slowly to the door. I smiled greatfully at the young nurse as she lead us down the corridor.

Sky slowly walked down the corridor. Her head hung low, her hospital gown swaying side to side. I squeezed her hand as the nurse pushed open the door to the little room.

As we entered my heart beated rapidly. I looked around to the little butterflys and teddy bears plastered on the yellow walls. Tiny little cots lined up as my eyes set upon my little boy. Sky looked me in the eyes and she let go of my hand walking towards the cot.

Her hand reached down into the cot her hand stroking James' head.

"He looks- like he's s.sleeping" she choked.

I looked down to our little boy. His eyes closed peacefully. His head cocked to one side, dressed in a small white baby grow. His nose slightly pointed up at the end just like skys.

I grabbed hold of his hand and sky grabbed hold of the other. Water glazing my eyes.

"I need to know what his eyes looked like." She whispered.

"I want to remember them." She said as she placed her finger gently onto his eyelid and raised it slightly. Her mouth parted slightly.

"He has you eyes Niall"

"Beautiful and blue like the ocean. The eyes i fell in love with" Sky whispered as she buryed her head in my chest.

"Shall we go now." I said scratching my head. She nodded her head

"I just want to say good bye first" she sighed.

I watched as she leant over the cot. Her eyes glancing over her baby boy as she planted a kiss on his forehead.

"I love you. I will always love you. Now and forver. Goodbye James. See you soon" she whispered and turned around walking to the door her hand over her mouth covering her little sobs.

I kissed James head and stroked his hand.

"Seeya little guy. I love you" i said and walked towards sky.

"Lets get out of here"

This is so short and im so so sorry. Im just really losing ideas HOWEVER soon theres gonna be a big plot twist and i insure tears and very graphic scenes
