Hae-won have to admit, she was pretty good at avoiding Chan. She was afraid she would make a fool of herself so instead she started running away from him, and Chan noticed this right away.

"M-Maybe she doesn't like me," Chan said softly to Minghao who was writing down something on a piece of paper.

"Why's that?" Minghao said as he scribbled some more things on his paper,

"Every time I try to talk to her she keeps running away, what happens if she still hates me?" Chan's voice cracked ever so slightly,

"When did she start doing this?" Minghao asked as he looked up at his paper and saw Chan laying his head on the counter,

"After our date." Chan sighed before Minghao wrote down the last sentence and nodded his head in approval,

"Huh, maybe she lost interest?" Minghao suggested,

"Hyung! You're not helping!" Chan whined, "I'm going home." Chan muttered as he got up and grabbed his coat before saying goodbye to the latter.

Meanwhile, Hae-won was walking around the neighbourhood as she looked down at her book the whole time.

She was determined to re-read the whole Heroes of Olympus series before Trials of Apollo came out, Hae-won was currently on book three, The Mark of Athena.

She was too busy reading that she didn't notice the boy in front of her looking down at the ground as he kicked the pebbles I front of him, it wasn't that long until they shoulder checked each other.

"be more careful next time." Chan said before looking up at the girl with glasses as her eyes widened.

"C-Chan?"

"Hae-won!" Chan had a feeling Hae-won- would run off so he grabbed her wrist and pull her towards him,

"Chan what are you doing?!" Hae-won screeched before her face instantly collided into Chan's chest,

"Why do you keep running away from me?" Chan said to Hae-won who pushed herself off of Chan's chest with a flustered look,

"Uh because... Oh I think Mingyu called I got to go!" Hae-won said quickly as she ran away from Chan, it took Chan a few seconds to process what was going on.

"Come back here!" Chan yelled as he ran towards Hae-won, she prayed that her legs would run faster, and they did.

Hae-won was slowly putting distance between her and Chan as she ran into the empty park, soon enough she started breathing heavy and her legs started getting sore. She was slowing down a bit which made it easier for Chan to catch up,

"Almost..got you," Chan said as he stretched out arm and grabbed Hae-won's wrist which made her yelp and run even faster.

When she was running trying to get Chan's hand off hers, she didn't realize a small rock in front of her and she tripped making her fall down, that caused Chan to fall down to.

In that moment of panicked he close his eyes, put his hands down and hoped for the best. His hands landed on the ground as his breathing was heavy.

Chan opened his eyes to see Hae-won underneath him, she was a shade of dark red.

"W-what are you doing?" Hae-won said as her heart beat sped up,

"I'm supposed to be asking you that silly, why do you keep running away from me?" Chan said without moving an inch, there was a hint of sadness in his voice, Hae-won hesitated.

Should I really tell him?

Hae-won made her decision and took a deep breath and hoped for the breath,

"Iactuallyreallylikeyouchan." She said at a rapid pace, she thought Chan didn't understand because of the dumbfounded look on his face so she kept going... This time she slowed down, "I don't know if you even like me, but I really do. I liked you ever since we met but then you pushed me and I thought you hated me or something so I stayed away from you but-" Chan cut her off by quickly pecking her cheeks,

"H-Hey! What was that for you creep?!" Hae-won said as she stared at Chan who was also blushing and grinning like an idiot,

"I heard you the first time." Chan smiled as he stared down at Hae-won, Chan was slowly going closer to Hae-won's face but then someone yelled.

"CONTROL YOUR RAGING HORMONES, THERE'S CHILDREN HERE FFS." An old lady yelled at the pair before Chan got off of Hae-won and helped her up, they both apologized to the old lady before walking together awkwardly as they exited the park.

Hae-won touched the cheek that Chan kissed, Chan looked over at Hae-won and smiled a bit.

"You want to get lunch?" Chan asked, Hae-won nodded as Chan unconsciously slipped his hand into Hae-won's hand.
