Why is he calling me? When I said we were done, I meant it.

I ignored the phone call and pulled off.

The next day I did nothing but stay inside.

I didn't want to go out or see anyone today.
I laid on the couch, falling asleep again.

I was awaken by a loud knock on the door.

I groaned out loud and turned down the tv hoping they would think no one was home and leave.

Sadly they didn't leave. So now I had to get up and actually walk over to the door.

I didn't even bother fixing my hair, I just went over to the door and opened it.

"Mya?" I leaned on the door frame with a blank stare on my face.

"How did you find out where I lived?"

His smile got wider showing off his cute dimples.

"Someone told me but that's not why I'm here"

"Well why are you at my house?"

"I wanted to take you out today"

Why would he want to take me out. I look like a hot mess, and all I do is lead him on.

"Why?"

He chuckled at my questioned and asked if he could come in. I closed the door behind him and sat next to him on the couch.

"What do you mean why? I'm sorry for the way I acted at the party. I guess this is my way of apologizing"

"I don't think I'm really ready to go out today"

He reached for my hand and held it while his thumb traced circles over the top of my hand.

"Please. You look perfectly fine" even though I knew he was lying, it still made me blush.

My face heated up and a smiled came to my face.

"Okay fine. But don't blame me if I don't have any fun"

I got up and went to my room to shower and get ready.

Once I was done showering I brushed my hair so I looked half decent and got dressed in a gray shirt, black jeans, and a flannel tied around my waist. Just incase we stay out a little later and it's get cold.

Nate's face lit up as I walked down the stairs.

"You look amazing...like really beautiful"

I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear and looked down, hiding my face.

"You don't have to be nice. I know I don't look that good"

He pulled me in and leaned down to give me a kiss.

"No, no, no. Atleast buy me dinner first"

He smirked, "I'm gonna need to buy you more than dinner then"

His arms snaked around my waist as he led me out the door.

My face was still hot from all his compliments.

"So where are you taking me today?"

He led me out to his car and opened the door for me.

"You'll see. It's a surprise"
