I hate having showers on my period. The reason is I usually end up leaking on the floor, then I'm not able to dry my legs off with my towel. It's the worst on heavy days. I have to get undressed and immediately step into the shower so that the blood doesn't get onto the floor.
After I'm done, I have to rinse out the shower to get rid of all the blood, then hop onto the toilet before the stream of blood running down my legs gets all the way down. Then I have to take toilet paper and wipe that up, then try and dry myself off with my towel, and only then can I get dressed. It's really annoying.
