Jace sat in the back of Jackson's Porsche, his legs nearly touching his chest from how tight it was back there. Lydia had forced him to come for movie night, which basically translated to, watching the notebook while Jackson complained and Lydia cried.

Jackson was looking at his girlfriend pleadingly. "Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever. It is the best sports movie ever made."

Jace laughed loudly. "Don't even try Jackson. It's not gonna work." He knew it wouldn't. It never did. It was like a routine now.

"But it's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper." Jackson turned around, looking at Jace pleadingly as if to ask the brunette to help him out with changing Lydia's mind about what movie they were watching that night.

Lydia placed her phone on her lap, looking at her boyfriend with what some could call a sickly sweet smile, "no."

Jackson groaned loudly, anger shining bright in his eyes. "Lydia, I swear to God you're gonna like it." Lydia just responded the same way, with a plan and hard no. "I am not watching The Notebook again."

Jace giggled, placing a hand onto Jackson's shoulder. When he turned to look at him all Jace could do was smirk, "sweetie. We're watching the notebook. So get your ass out of the car and find it."

Jackson huffed angrily but that seemed to give him the enthusiasm to get out of the car and walk into the video store, making sure to slam the door open and shut. Jace couldn't help but laugh at his friends frustration. There really was no point in arguing with Lydia Martin when her mind was set on something.

"Come here, Jace." Lydia ordered, holding up her phone to take pictures of them. Jace smirked leaning forward and doing duck lips, the same pose that Lydia was doing.

For the next photo, Jace turned his head and kissed Lydia's cheek and Lydia smiled, the camera snapping the photo. The two giggled, taking more photos and being completely oblivious to what was happening to Jackson in the video store. Lydia turned her phone around and started scrolling through the photos, making Jace smile, "damn we are so hot."

"We're the hottest things that have ever happened to Beacon Hills." Lydia laughed, as they took another photo and Jace believed that Lydia was being completely serious. Jace got out his own phone and placed it on video, him and his best friend making funny faces at the camera.

All of a sudden the window to the video store had smashed open, making Jace snap his head towards it quickly and what he saw made his breath hitch. A big, black beast jumped out of the window, running straight past the car. The night air filled with the sounds of Lydia and Jace's ear piercing screams.
