Somebody catch my breath

I stared down at my dinner like it was my worst enemy... Well.. That wasn't too far away from what it was.
"Aren't you gonna eat?" My brother asked. My family didn't know me that well since I was always in my treehouse. They just didn't understand.
"U-umm, yeah. Of course," I said. I didn't want them to worry about me.
I grabbed my forked and stabbed into my salad, pretending to kill it, and I brought it up to my mouth, and started nibbling on it.
That night, I couldn't sleep. My medication wasn't working. And my anxiety got the best of me. I knew that I would be up until day.
I decided to do something instead of laying down and being worried.
So instead I got out my notebook and wrote somebody catch my breath.
And for some reason that sentence came to my mind.
And then I fell asleep.
