I have a question about the dhmis fandom

Why do people give names and genders to the teachers

It's not that hard to use they/them pronouns and call them 'Clock' or 'The Clock'

Really what kind of name is Tony for a talking clock

And also,,,

Even Red Guy, Duck, and Yellow Guy get names???

Even when in canon nobody has a proper name except Roy???

I'd like to stick to canon please and thank you
