Dark (Soldier x Reader)

Shadows engulfed everything, snarls of the desert beasts echoing throughout the sand and rocks. A howl erupted from the most dangerous of all, and everyone on the dark battlefield turned their heads to meet glowing eyes. Sharp canines gleamed a brilliant white, pearly teeth tainted with the men's crimson life liquid. Shaking hands rose guns of all kinds, making the shadow engulfed beast tense and let out another guttural growl. "FIRE!! FIRE!!" The BLU Soldier screamed, and all the men dressed in blue complied, splitting through the darkness with round after round of bullets. Guns lit up, they didn't see their target had disappeared. It was only when the gurgling cries of the BLU Sniper caught the men's attention and they swung around. There the creature stood, in the silver light of the moon. The corpse of their teammate sat at its feet, blood pooling in a massive puddle.

Slowly the men backed up, swallowing thickly as the RED team surrounded them. The sounds of what seemed like ripping flesh and cracking bones could be heard, along with a bloodcurdling roar. Then all that could be heard was the whisper of the wind and the pounding of terrified hearts. "Well lookie lookie here... Seems like some prey stumbled into our domain, huh boys?" An unknown voice soon said, making the RED team growl and grip their guns tighter. Slowly, a new face showed from between Soldier and Heavy, blood dripping down their chin. Their (e/c) eyes still glowed bright, and those same pearly white teeth showed when their lips pulled back in a snarl. They were lean built, (h/c), (h/l) hair gleaming. "Finish them, no survivors." The mysterious figure said, turning and leaving. The BLU team begged for mercy, but found none, only rounds in their chest.

By the time everyone got back you were sitting on the couch, cleaned up and in some casual clothes with a lollipop in your mouth. When you heard them tromping in like they usually did, slowly you raised your head and gave them a grin. "Hey boys!" You called and waved them over, shifting the sweet treat in your mouth. Scout was the first to come, jogging over and hopping over the back of the couch, flopping beside you. Sniper came and sat on the other side of you, the others slowly coming over and sinking into the furniture. Except for Solder, whom seemed quite ticked at Scout and Sniper for some reason; so he snuck away to go to his room for some relaxation and peace. No one except for Spy seemed to notice, yet he kept quiet, slowly starting to smirk as he pieced the pieces together.

"Damn, (Y/n)! Ya did so good tonight!" Scout cheered.

"Ja! I see that jou've remembered vhat ve have taught jou!" Medic added.

"To (Y/n)!" Demo cried, already drunk on one of his many bottles of scrumpty. All the other men cheered, fist pumping the air as they all grinned and laughed. Your smile was from ear to ear as you laughed and joined in, fist pumping and whooping so loud the BLU team probably heard. For the next couple hours you had laughs and most of the men drank, but you simply snacked on lollipops.... Okay maybe you'll admit you had a couple shots, but you weren't drunk, you swear!

At about 1 AM, Spy tugged you away from the little celebration and into the hallway, cigarette perched between his thin lips. "Mon amie, I 'ave somezing I ask of 'ou." He said quietly ad checked to make sure you were both still alone before looking back at you. "I ask zhat 'ou go to Soldier's room and check on 'im."

"And why would that be Spy, hmmm?" You asked sassily and shifted the lollipop in your mouth, only to have it tugged out from between your lips by Spy's gloved hand.

"Because I believe ze poor man has feelings for 'ou." He ignored your pout over your candy and pushed you in the direction of Soldier's room. "Non, no pouting mon amie, go to 'im." He said, leaving.

"Aight, aight..." You huffed and threw up your hands, heading towards the male's room. "Feelings huh.. Wow.. Hope he's right.." You mumbled to yourself.

It was a well kept secret that only you knew, and that was the fact that you had slowly developed a crush on the hard headed man. When you'd see him train in that tight wife beater, muscles gleaming in sweat, you'd blush. On the battlefield you'd always work harder around him, and would often protect him from getting killed. This often got you killed, but you couldn't help but protect the oblivious doof. "Calm.. Calm.." You told yourself as you soon reached Soldier's door and gave it a good knock, waiting for a response. The door soon opened to reveal a sleepy Soldier, grey eyes and handsome face making your breath catch in your throat. He looked confused and almost.. Shy..? Was the Soldier getting shy because of you? Oh how that made your insides flutter and your confidence boost at the same time.

Slowly, without saying a thing, you pushed him back into the dark room and closed the door. "I like you too Soldier.." You whispered into his ear, making his eye widen and his cheeks tint pink. He tried to stutter out something, but you stopped him with a soft kiss. He was stiff at first, but slowly kissed back to the point where he took control and deepened the kiss. Smirking as you kissed him, your eyes slowly closed and your hands traveled to his biceps. The need for air soon became too great though, and both of you had to part to gasp for breath. Yet only seconds later, he grabbed your arms and pulled you back against him, kissing you over and over. Soon though you decided to take control, pushing him back onto the bed with a small giggle, slowly stripping off your shirt to reveal your bare chest.

"My turn.. I'm at my best in the dark~" You purred sexily and crawled on top of him, starting what would be a long, but exhilarating night for both of you.
