Chapter Fourteen: clichè stories

I wake up with pain rushing throughout my entire body. Once my eyes are open i quickly look around fearing that it was all a dream and i was still in the night howlers territory i think thats what they are called lincon told me whislt we were in the middle of escaping that darn place i was still sad that we didn't take kaylem with us the second i was with lincon.

I told dad about all the stuff i could and told him how i promised a few things
One) i would help save Diego
Two) i wouldn't rat them out
Three) i would take Kaylem with me

It took awhile to get daddy to agree not to kill them all but eventually he accepted the terms i had agreed to with Peter. That didn't stop him wanting to kill tho but we cant all be perfect.

Once i had realized were i was i calmed down. "Im home" i mummbled to myself quietly

I look around to notice a piece of paper stuck on my bed side table. I picked up the paper to notice a small letter written on it in fancy writing

Where plants grow tall
Go where there is no wind at all

The sun will shine bright
Smell to your delight

I smile at the letter knowing it was daddy who wrote it since he is usually the one to plan everything for my birthday.

I quickly take the pain killers Lincon left for me. Before slowly getting up pain shot up throughout my leg but i continued to ignore it since nobody except Lincon knows i got shot and i plan to keep it that way.

I walk to the only place i know where plants grow with no wind.
The green house i can smell the flowers ro my delight.

Once i am in the green house i notice another note. I slowly hobble over it to see a map with and x on it. I smile at my dads creativity. Before following the map.

Soon i found out that the X on the map was the Gym area.

God it feels like an eternity since i last went to the gym i smile to myself i look around for a note but dont see one anywhere. So instead i look around for anything out of place thats when i notice a small black box in the corner.

I open the small black box to reveal a family ring that had three loops combined into one band. Each loop had a name on it that read

Delphina
Angelina

I smiled before placing the silver ring on my finger.

I also noticed a small folded note inside. I take it out and unfold it to reveal a picture thats been ripped in half. I look closely at the picture to see that it was taken in the lounge room. I quickly hobble over to reveal a dark room with the lights turned off.

I went to turn the lights on and as soon as they flicked on a large

"SURPRISE!" came my way

"Ahhh" i scream falling on my butt. Only to be welcomed with a herd of laughter. I never really liked surprises. I let my face relax when i saw my whole family, the maids, security and members of the gang all there dressed in party hats. With huge smiles on their faces

You'd think i'd be used to this since it happens every year usually before my birthday but i guess they couldn't help it this year

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they all shout in unison once again.

"Its time for your most inportant surpise" daddy said as he walked closer to me "open the closet" he said with a smile

What the hell did he put in he closet?
