They don't know what happened. She just fainted out of nowhere.

You always said when we both were legal we'd visit every bar in town. You probably already forgot my birthday by now, but guess what? I'm legal now.
I sign off the letter to Riley and stick it into the envelope lying on the table in front of me. I'm no longer in the stage of denial or the stage of thinking about her all the time, mostly just still sad that everything ended the way it did. After having someone in your life for so long, it's hard to cope in situations like this without them. My mom's chances of making it are slim and I have no one to turn to except an already-married women.
Except not really, because I just realized that I don't even have Riley's address.
