"Alright dear, have fun!" Mother called over the noise, hugging me one more time. I mumbled a 'bye' into her clothes.

"You know, your father in his 4th year, broke his wand!" Mother whispered.

She grasped my head and kissed my forehead. "Bye!" I called, hopping swiftly onto the train. I walked into a random cabin, settling down by the window. I spotted mother, waving happily.

"Bye!" I leaned into the window, waving. The Hogwarts Express moved, traveling across the railway. I sat down, sighing excitedly.

I heard the door to my cabin creak. I turned my head sharply. A light blonde-haired boy shuffled in. Following him was a dark brown-haired boy.

I gasp escaped my mouth as I realised who he was. "Albus Potter! Son of Harry Potter!" I exclaimed, holding my hand out for him to shake.

Albus took my hand and shook it roughly. The other boy coughed. "May we join you in this cabin?" he asked.

"Sure. No one's here." I shrugged, patting the seat beside me. Albus sat opposite me, while the other boy sat beside me.

"I'm Scorpius. Scorpius Malfoy." Bitterly, he added, "the son of Voldemort."

"Scorpius! No one believes that! Plus, it's just a rumour that has been proved wrong." Albus said firmly.

"Tell that to Rose Weasley," he muttered quietly.

"I-I'm Y/N," I stuttered. Scorpius turned to me. "Nice to meet you. I'm a nerd," he smiled. Albus rolled his eyes.

"I'm delighted to meet you two. I really am lacking some friends." I said sadly. "We can be your friends!" Albus chirped delightfully.

I smiled. Scorpius offered me a white bag. "Sweets?"

"No thanks."

"I'll take some!" Albus piped, reaching over and taking the bag from Scorpius. I yawned. "I'm tired. I didn't sleep much last night," I said, cuddling up by the window. "I'm going to sleep. Wake me up when we get there."

I felt Scorpius's gaze on my back, and I wriggled uncomfortably, blushing slightly. Slowly, I fell asleep.
