We learned that pets are good companies than people.
They talk less. They only squeak, bark, jump, sniff, stick their tongue out, chase balls, pee on the couch, poop on the carpet, chew your furniture...
On second thought dogs are hard to keep.
Try a mouse.
But they're not good huggers as dogs, or cats are.
Or maybe cats are better than dogs?
How about small dogs like Pomeranians?
Ugh.
Deciding on a pet is hard work.
Then you go to the pet store and look for the right one for you.
Then the worker there asks you for his or her assistance.
Okay. No.
No thanks.
I'll just look for stray animals.
