As quoted on a website,

The Mandela Effect is a term for where a group of people all mis-remember the same detail, event or physicality. It is named after the instance in which a large group of people all shared the same memory that Nelson Mandela died prior to his actual 2013 death, usually some time in the 1980's. The effect is somewhat different from a false memory as it effects large groups of people, seemingly without many connections and without the same emotional factors present. It also seems stronger and harder to escape the feeling that it's simply a mis-remembering of a detail, which is why people are so adamant with claims of their memories. As such, it's often been hinted at that the Mandela Effect is closely related to cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds beliefs, ideas, or values and is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values.

Many people who believe in this theory, believe that this world has a "alternative universe" or maybe someone goes back in time and changes stuff. I don't know about this honestly.

There are thousands of different evidence, to prove that the Mandela Effect is real. I will be listing all the ones I could find below. If you have any more, be sure to comment them below.

The first one, which is clearly how the name had came from. Nelson Mandela, the first ever "black" president, who people can remember dying in the 1980's but in fact he died on December 5th 2013. I have seen so many real life stories, of people telling how they can remember his death being all over the news, and reading articles about it in the newspaper.

The second one, is really big with the 90s kids. The Berenstein Bears, which was supposedly a children books series,is actually Berenstain Bears, not the way everyone can remember. Everyone can remember it clearly being with a E, but if they go through their old stories, they will actually see that it is spelt with an A and not a E

Thirdly, this quote has been so big for years. Everyone  knows this, or has at least heard it. But how would you react if you find out it was all fake. "Mirror Mirror on the wall"? Nope. It is actually "Magic Mirror on the wall". How is it possible though? Since nearly the entire world can remember it as Mirror Mirror.

Another really big movie quote which was misheard, is from Star Wars. Remember "Luke, I am your father", well they actually say "No, I am your father". Weird, right? The misheard one has been used  for so long and everyone knows it as that.

I was going to leave it at that, but I just saw something which has actually left me really confused

I was going to leave it at that, but I just saw something which has actually left me really confused. Remember Curious George? I can remember it as the monkey with a tail, but I just saw that he actually never had a tail and is in fact a chimp. This is honestly the biggest one that impacted on me, since I just found this out right now and my childhood?!?!?!?
