Camila's P.O.V.

"I'm fine, mom," I said to the phone for the 20th time. "My room's fine. The school's fine. Everything's fine."

"Okay, sweetie. Call me soon. I love you!" she sounded like she's about to cry.

"Mom, I'm home in May even if you wouldn't want me there," I joked, but the tears started to run down my face. "Love you more. Bye!"

I ended the call, lay on the bed and closed my eyes to hold the tears. I would be so happy I can be here, not cry over my family.

The door opened and I quickly sat.

"Uh, are you alright?" A nice brown-haired boy standing in the door asked me shrinking his eyebrows.

"Ehm," I wiped my tears. "Yea. I just..." I shooked my head and smiled. "Nothing."

"Okay then," he smiled at me nicely. "I'm Shawn."

"Camila, but call me Mila," I shrugged. "I don't like Camila actually."

"Haha, really? I think it's a pretty great name," he chuckled.

"Good joke."

Later I got wind Shawn's new here, same as me. He's 16, same as me. He's gonna study at the local university, same as me. And he's gonna have a room 143. And guess what. Same as me.

It was unusual for me to share a room with another person, cause at home, I haven't shared my room with anyone, my little sister has her own. And it was the more unusual for me to share room with a boy. I was excited, cause I loved changes and I still love them actually, but I was a little bit scared, not-knowing what to expect, just because the one and only man in my life was my dad, haha.

"Top or bottom?" Shawn cut off my thoughts.

"Excuse me?" I chuckled didn't know what the hell he ment.

"Do you want the top or the bottom bunk?" he laughed.

I joined his laughing. "Ugh, the top I think."

I don't know what happened, but I kinda started to like this life.
