Camila's P.O.V.

"Darling..." Shawn touched my chin and lifted my head. "Just need to talk to Andrew in person and fix some little things up."

I smiled sadly. "I know, and I'm so happy for you, don't you dare to think I'm not, but I'm so used to waking up next to you every single morning and now? I can hug the pillow every night instead of you," I joked a little bit, but my face didn't change.

"I'm right back in two weeks."

10 months later

"Handwritten's out this friday," Shawn said to me and I could really see the excitement in his eyes even through a Skype videocall.

"You don't have to tell me that," I laughed. "I'm your fan number one. And it is gonna be so big and amazing for sure."

"Yes, it has to, cause like a half's about you."

It wasn't possible not to see how he's excited even through the phone screen. It almost felt like he was right next to me, sitting, touching me, cause the vibes and emotions were so strong. I smiled of the imagination, but then I realized those three thousand kilometers between us and my heart started to hurt.

"Can you hear me?" his voice got me out of my thoughts. Damn, I miss this voice.

"Yea, sure."

"I have to go for a minute, but I'll be right back," he told me.

"Uhm... There's this exam tomorrow which I have to study for so hard," I lied. He was away for six months and I just couldn't stare at his handsome face no longer without feeling completely lost.

"Okay?" he shrugged. "Can we talk tomorrow evening?"

"Actually, the whole week's really busy. Sorry," I lied to him again and it ripped my heart.

"Oh, seems I can't do anything about it," he smiled sadly. "Call me when you're free. And good luck. And, Mila, you have to know I miss you so bad, I'm literally dying here without you, but I'm back next week whether you like it or not," he promised.

"You just have to know that when I'll hug you, I'll never let you go," I made a joke.

"Well, I'm alright with that. Bye babe."

When he hung up, I lied on my bed and staring at the ceiling tried to hold the tears and don't let the intrusive thoughts into my head, which was unsuccesful.

On Sunday I was much better. The main reason was, that I got into studying so deep to give my killer imagination a break and it had good consequences too, which was a bonus. And I was so glad to see Shawn again on Monday. I was sure he won't stay for long, but now I was thankful for every minute I could spend with him.

While he was away, I realized so many things. He was so important to me as a friend, as a boyfriend, as a human. He taught me so many life lessons and I own him so much. I wasn't questioning myself he's the most important person in my life. That was for sure.

But underneath all the happiness of seeing him again was hiden a lot of fear too. I was so afraid that he changed, I changed, and we won't be able to understand ourselves the way we did. I was so afraid that his feelings to me won't be the same, and it was killing me, cause the thing way chasing me even in my dreams and it almost felt like it's dangerous to have a person meaning so much to you in life.

"Hey, baby," I waved at him through the phone screen happy to see him. "Handwritten is at number one on the US Billboard 200!"

"Yea, I know."

"That little excitement?" I frowned. "Something happened?"

"I can't arrive tomorrow."

"Why," it felt like somebody punched me to the face.

"Because of the Handwritten's success some radio's and TV shows all over Canada and US asked me for an interview so I have to do it. I'm so sorry, Mila," he looked really sad.

"Well, you can't do anything about it," I forced a smile. "I just want you to know I'm so happy and proud of you. Handwritten's so beautiful."

"Well, I would be much happier to talk with you instead of some people from radio."

"We'll talk soon."

"I'm with you this month, even if I'd have to walk there by foot."

"Baby, please, no more promises. It's killing me."
