*7:34* First day of winter
I woke up early today
*PHONE IS RINGING*
It's Team leader
"Hel-"
"Yah detective Wendy, where are you?"
"I'm hooooome...??? It's only 7:40. Work doesn't start until 9:00."
"Yeah well I told you guys to come 2 hours earlier and the only person who showed up so far was Yuju. You and DK are not here."
What???
"When did you tell us that?"
"I texted you."
He did?
I check my text messages. There was one from Minhyuk telling us to come to work 2 hours earlier.
Daaaamn. Right when I thought I didnt have to rush to work for once.
"Yes team leader. I'll be there soon."
"Yeah you be-"
I hang up the phone and get ready in a rush.
I head to the bus stop and wait for the bus.
It's cold.
I forgot my scarf and it's freezing out here.
I look up to the sky
Wow...the sky is so pretty.
I felt calm.
I close my eyes.
Someone puts their scarf around me and sticks an ear phone in my ear.
A little braver by New Empire.
I don't even open my eyes to know that it's DK.
"Detective Wendy, open your eyes, the bus is here."
I turn to DK and open my eyes.
He's smiling.
Time passes.
"Yaah kids! Are you guys not getting on?"
The bus driver is yelling at us. I guess we've been staring at each other for too long.
DK grabs my hand and we get on the bus.
We go to the back, in the same seats as last time. I sit on the inside and he sits on the outside.
I look down and look at his scarf he put on me. It's a white fluffy scarf. Super soft too by the way.
Still wearing his scarf.
Still have his head phones in.
Still holding his hand...
I Let go and DK looks down at our hands.
"Oh...sorry... I forgot."
"Aha...it's fine...SOOO, do you have any idea why Team leader wants us at work 2 hours earlier?"
"I asked him and he gave me a bit of a background. Apperantly a women thinks her boyfriend is either gay or cheating and she want's the truth."
"Gay or cheating?...This should be intresting."
We arrive at the building.
"Let's go before Team leader gets angry...again."
DK grabs my hand...again...and we run into the building.
We go to the office and I see that we got a new door.
I open the door and DK and I walk inside.
"Annyeong Yuju"
"Annyeong Unnie! ...why are you 2 holding hands?"
"Huh?"
I look down to see That DK and I are still holding hands.
I let go of his hand and we walk to our desk.
Minhyuk and I make eye contact and he rolls his eyes.
"I don't allow dating in the office."
DK and I look at each other.
I scoff.
" we're not dating. We're just co workers"
"and Friends.." Says DK.
"Yeah, co workers and friends."
We smile at each other.
"Okay...sooo...what's our next case about?"
Minhyuk coughs and picks up the files.
"Gather at the circle."
We gather.
"Kim Taeyeon, 27, believes her boyfreind Kim Jonghyun, 26, is either gay or a cheater."
Someone knocks on the door.
"Yes, come in."
A beautiful women walks in.
"Hello, i'm Kim Taeyeon."
DK stumbles and get's up. He's blushing.
"U-U-Um I'm Detective DK."
They shake hands and DK assist her to the circle.
Ahaha, what a cutie. He's fallen head over heels for her.
"Ahaha, okay DK, she's in a relationship. Hello, i'm Detective Wendy, this is Detective Yuju, this is our team leader Detective Minhyuk, and...well you've already met Detective DK, ahaha. So what can we help you with today?"
"I think my boyfriend Jonghyun is either gay or he's cheating on me."
"Okay, why is that?"
"Whenever he comes home late at night, he smells like cologne...Jonghyun doesn't wear cologne. I brushed it off because it didn't seem like a big deal. But now days whenever he comes home he smells like a different cologne every time. Sometimes he has stained lips from lipstick, and sometimes he has mascara on. One day I came home earlier than usual, and  his nails were painted. They weren't like that before he left the house. He said his niece did it but he doesn't have a niece. None of his siblings have children."
Whoaa, this is confusing.
"So...what are you guys planning to do..?"
We all look at each other. I can tell we all don't know what to do because evidence shows that he can be cheating, or he might be gay.
"What do you think Detective Wendy?", says Minhyuk.
Okaaaay, what exactly is he trying to do? Does he hate me? He knows I don't have any ideas.
"Um, Let's just follow him for now. I'm sure we can collect a whole bunch of evidence just by following him. Is that fine by you Taeyeon-ssi?"
"Yes, i'm fine with whatever. As long as I get the truth."
"Okay, seems good."
"Thank you.."
Taeyeon leaves the room and I turn to Minhyuk annoyed.
"What exactly are you doing?"
Minhyuk ignores me and walks out of the room.
And of course I follow.
"Excuse me???"
Minhyuk walks outside and I still follow.
"Excuse me Mr Team Leader"
He finally turns to me and says,
"Yes?"
*cough* "What were you doing in there? Why do you always ask me for my ideas when you KNOW I don't have any ideas?"
He laughs
"ARE YOU LAUGHING??? Okay...I'm confused. Why?"
"I only ask for your ideas because you have great ideas."
Hmm, is he complimenting me right now?
"Oh..well..thanks. I mean I know that I have great ideas but it's nice to know that someone else thinks so too."
Minhyuk laughs and puts his hand on my head and messes my hair.
He walks back into the office.
Whaat the heeeeck? Okay?.......I wonder what we're having for lunch today. I'm starving and lunch is all I can think about.
I walk back to the office and we talk about Taeyeon and Jonghyun.
We head out to the van and head to Jonghyun's job.
We wait until Jonghyun heads out and we follow.
We follow him and he drives to a gay club.
"We're gonna have to go inside...but I don't want us getting caught. Soooo... Since our Team Leader thinks I have great ideas...I have an Idea. Why don't team leader and Detective DK go...inside??"
No one responded...well exept Yuju
"Unnie! I totally agree with you!"
"Thanks Yuju, ahaha. What do you think DK?"
His eyes open wide.
"Ohh uhh...I'll go with whatever team leader says....So what do you say team leader?"
All attention turns to Minhyuk.
"Uhhh, Yeah, I think thats a great idea Detective Wendy." Minhyuk forces a smile.
"Okay, great!"
Minhyuk and DK put on their ear piece and equipment but...they don't leave their seats.
"Ummm...anytime soon would be great..." I say to them.
Minhyuk gets up quickly.
"YES! We will leave now. Let's go Detective DK."
"Yes team leader."
"Fighting!"
They leave the van and go inside.
"Team leader, where do you think Jonghyun would be?"
Minhyuk looks around the club and spots Jonghyun.
"He's over there, let's go."
They walk over but a big man stops them.
"Were you guys invited here?"
"No?" Minhyuk says hoping the man will let them through.
"This club only accepts gays or else you must be invited."
DK and Minhyuk look at eachother.
"Uhh...We are gay!" says DK
Minhyuk looks over at DK
"We are?"
DK gives Minhyuk the 'just go with the flow' look.
"Yes...we are."
The big man analyzes them.
"Are you guys a couple?"
Minhyuk looks at DK hoping that DK knows what he's doing.
"Uhh, yea duh. Isnt that right Minhyuk?"
"Yupp. Right."
The big man analyzes them again and let's them go.
"Whew, thank god. I thought we were gonna get caught, right Minhyuk?"
"Yah! TEAM.LEADER."
"Ahaha, yes Team Leader...but where is  Jonghyun?"
"Huh?"
DK and Minhyuk look around and can't see jonghyun anywhere, so Minhyuk speaks into the ear piece.
"Detective Wendy, we lost Jonghyun. Do you see him?"
Yuju and I look around.
I see Jonghyun walking out of the club.
"Yeah I see him. Should we follow him?"
"Yeah, there's too many people blocking the entrance, so you guys go ahead first. Keep us updated."
"Yes Minhyuk."
"YAAH!! TEAM. LEADER! "
What a joke. Ahaha.
"Ahaha, let's go Yuju. "
"Yes Unnie."
We follow Jonghyun's car to a building.
The building had a big sign next to it.
EVERY MANS DREAM
"Every mans dream? What is this unnie?"
"There's only one way to find out. Let's go."
Yuju and I get out of the van and follow him into the building.
There's tables full of women and men drinking, talking, and laughing.
There's a stage in the front and a masculine women with a face full of make up comes out.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WELCOME TO EVERY MANS DREAM!"
Yuju and I look at eachother, very confused.
Her voice in pretty deep for a women...
"I WOULD LOVE TO ANNOUNCE YOU'RE FAVORITE NEW GIRL, JOSIE!!!"
Josie?
A person walks out.
She looks similar to the women who introduced her. Lots of make up and masculine.
Yuju and I analyze Josie.
Something seems...odd...?
Josie starts giving the audience lap dances and collects money from the people waving cash in the air.
Hmm, Josie's nose kinda looks like Jonghyun's nose.
"Unnie...doesnt Josie look familiar?"
"Yeah...that's what I was thinking too. "
I analyze deep into Josie.
"Yuju...doesnt josie kinda look like...Jonghyun? Or am I tweaking?
Yuju squints her eyes staring at Josie and analyzing her.
"OMO! NO UNNIE! You're right. They look similar. Same height, eye, nose, lips, ears. Everything is the same. The only difference is the heels, the wig, the make up, and the nail polish."
OH. MY. GOSH. Is this what I think it is?
A server walks by and I stop him.
"Um excuse me but, is 'Everymans Dream' a place where men cross dress as womens? Or another meaning...Drag Queens?"
"Ahaha, yes."
Daebak. That explains the nail polish and smeared lipstick.
"Yuju...I think I know whats going on. "
We exit the club and go back to the office. We contact Jonghyun and Taeyeon and they arrive at the office.
"Soooo...Jonghyun"
"Yes..."
I cough to break the awkward presence.
"Let me try to guess this. Recently you and your girlfriend Taeyeon have moved into an apartment, but your college debts and apartment payment is building up. You work at Everymans Dream after work. In the day youre Jonghyun but at night youre Josie. That was the only job that accepted you and gave high pays. But not only that, you would also get over $300 every night just as tips from the audience. You didnt wanna tell Taeyeon because if she knew what you were doing then she will make you quite, but you cant because of the pay. But not only is it because of the pay, but you learned to actually have fun with it and you built a relationship with the staff and audience through it...Therefore you are not cheating and Taeyeon has nothing to worry about. And I would assume that you're planning on purposing to her soon..."
Everyone's Jaw is open
"So am I right or should I reevalute this?"
"I'm impressed You're right on the dot Detective Wendy." Says jonghyun.
Taeyeon turns to Jonghyun.
"So you're not cheating?"
"Of course im not. I would never cheat on you. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me."
"Aww, okay, but you gotta let me see Josie. Im dying to see her."
"Ahaha, okay what about tomorrow night?"
"I would love to."
They laugh and Taeyeon turns to us.
"Thank you guys so much."
"No problem, we're just doing our jobs", says DK.
Taeyeon and Jonghyun leave.
"Whew. What a long night."
Minhyuk looks at me and has the audacity to say,
"And its gonna be even longer."
F me.
"What? Why?"
"I have more cases here and I need someone to go over them with me."
"Okay, then ask detective DK to look them over with you."
"Sorry Detective Wendy, my little brother cant be home alone too late."
DK leaves.
I turn to Yuju with some hope
"Yuju...?"
"Sorry Unnie. But you know how my parents are ..."
Yuju leaves.
"Looks like its you who's going to be looking over these cases with me Detective Wendy"
I roll my eyes and sigh
Why me? Why is it always me?
"Yes team leader."

I started getting tired.
Then I slowly...
Slowly...
Slowly...
Slowly...
drifted to sleep.
Minhyuk looks over at Wendy and see's that Wendy has fallen asleep.
Minhyuk walks over to Wendy and takes off his coat.
He puts his coat over Wendy.
"Cute. how can you fall asleep in the office..ahaha..."
He stares at Wendy asleep.
Minhyuk sighs.
"What shoud we do Detective Wendy? I cant leave you here alone.."
Minhyuk does some thinking and decided to just stay the night with Wendy.
"I guess i'm staying with you tonight Son Wendy. "
Minhyuk dim the lights and walks over to his desk.
He sits in his chair and closes his eyes.
