I Never Wanted To Hurt You (Luna Lovegood)

 Luna looked up at you, tears streaming down her face. You had just broken up with her, to try to keep her safe from Voldemort.

"You're such an arse." She grumbled.

"Luna... I never wanted to hurt you. I'm just trying to keep you safe." You said.

"Safe from what? You? You're a little too late for that, Y/N." She stated, annoyed.

"Safe from the Dark Lord. I don't want anything to happen to you. He'll kill anyone important to me. I love you, but I can't risk letting anything happen to you." You explained.

She looked up at you with wide eyes. She threw her arms around you, pulling you close.

"Just protect me. You're strong enough to. I don't want to live without you. I love you." She whispered.

You hugged her close and nodded slightly. You heard her breathe a sigh of relief, and you actually felt safe.
