I Dare You (Ginny)

You were enjoying a break from Hogwarts, you were about to start your sixth year and you were feeling the pressure of getting older. You, Hermione, Harry, and Ron were spending the summer at the Burrow. You and Hermione were sitting outside in the sun, watching Harry, Ron, and the twins play their own Quidditch game which was much more difficult than what they played at Hogwarts. You didn't know where Ginny was because she would typically be in the sky with the boys, beating all of them. You weren't going to admit it, but you had a little bit of a crush on her. You had known the Weasley family for years, and Ron, Ginny, Fred, and George were your best friends. You heard a water hose running and assumed Molly was watering her flowers. All of the sudden you felt ice cold water on your back. You jumped up and looked behind you. 

"Ginevra Molly Weasley!" You yelled.

She cackled, and you had to try very hard not to laugh.

"Do it again. I dare you." You glared at her.

She looked at you, shrugged, and sprayed you with the water hose once more. You were a little shocked she had done it, and soon you were chasing after her. She turned to run to the other side of the house and you somehow caught up to her. You reached out to grab her, and you both fell to the ground. Somehow, you landed on top of her. 

"Gonna beat me up now, Y/L/N?" Ginny smirked.

Your eyes flickered down to her lips and then met her eyes again. You felt yourself slowly leaning in, closer to her lips. You barely brushed your lips against hers before pulling away. She looked at you, dazed for a moment. 

"I'm just NOT gonna kiss you." You replied.

"Now, wait a minute. You can if you want to." She got up to her feet, taking a step towards you.

"Oh I know. You made that pretty clear just a second ago. I'm just not gonna do it. You think you can just spray me with a water hose and then I'll kiss you? You're absolutely insane, Gin-" You were cut off by a pair of soft lips against your own. 

You slowly kissed her back, pulling her closer to you by her hips. Her hands were gently resting on your cheeks as she softly kissed you. You pulled away and rested your forehead against hers.

"Bloody hell, Y/N, you gotta learn when to shut up." She joked. 

You chuckled, leaning in to kiss her again when you felt cold water again. The two of you jumped apart and saw the twins with the hose. 

"You guys looked like you needed to cool off." Fred winked.

"I'm gonna kill you two." Ginny groaned, upset that she was soaked now too. 

You laughed, pulling her against you once more and pecking her lips.
