I held my breath for a quick second as I studied her face. "Get out!!" She yelled. Well. Her forgetting isn't an option. "Cmon honey, it's my birthday!" I said with a grin as I rested my elbows on the counter, my hands under my chin. "I said. GET OUT!!" She screamed as her face got red and her eyes got teary. "Your still a terrible person." She mumbled as tears flowed down her burning cheeks. I yanked my card from the table and stomped out of the shop. I headed into the trail home, giving up any idea of staying out. My cheeks glowed as I stared at the ground in front of me. It's not like I meant to. One foot in front of the other. Just. Breath. I slowed down when my house was in view and just glared at it. Everything looked disgusting to me right now. My heart pounded as I mumbled to myself "why."
