"So it's a date" you say with a huge grin, standing in front of the mirror. Your room was the generic tumblr room, drawings on your walls, quotes everywhere, Christmas lights. You slip your phone out. "Pick me up in a bit? 😙" you text and read pops up at the bottom. "It's a date!" He replies. It's reassuring we're thinking the same thing. After a bit of touch up makeup there's a knock at the door. Thump thump th-thump thump. It was him, only he knocked like a dork. "Sup birthday boy!" You say as you wrap your arms around his neck, you were of course the same height as the midget. "Hey y/n" he said with a sigh of pure happiness as he wrapped his arms around your back. "I've missed you." You both say awkwardly, almost in sync. "I've missed you to." The same thing happens making you break the embrace and giggle lightly. He slips past me and grabs my hand. "Eager to get out?" I say, lightly squeezing his hand. He nods like somethings on his mind as we hop into his car. "Where to first?" He asks with a soft smile, the tone in his face changing as his gaze hits your eyes. "Er." You say at a loss of words. "Just drive? Are you hungry?" He nods as he remembers this disaster of a morning. "favorite restaurant?" I ask and he just shrugs as he pulls out of the driveway and starting down the road.
