The whole house was silent. Not a yell from Ciel, a 'yes master' from Sebastian. No stuttering remarks from Mey-Rin, or the distant laughter of Finnian and the bark of Pluto. The kitchen was absent from Baldroy's cursings and the halls free from the chit chat of the unwanted guests that so often appeared in the doorway. Zero. I was standing in the hallway, darkness the only inhabitant. A distant sound came from the room in front of me. I found myself slowly moving the handle. The door swung open, revealing an empty room. All except a figure facing towards the window playing the violin. He was playing an unrecognizable melody, but it wasn't pleasant. He turned around to look at me, and I noticed that It was Sebastian. I bit my lip. "Sebastian..." I whispered, but my voice boomed and was amplified about twenty times than I wanted it to be. His eyes turned red- a bright vibrant red. The word 'demon'  repeated itself in my head. His music became so loud, it pierced my ears and shattered them. I screamed as he neared me.'DEAMON' and my face melted and burned under his gaze. I was dead.

I screamed, forcing my eyes to open. I was greeted by a blinding light. I was moist, covered in my sweat and pouring downfall of tears. I was in my room, all tangled in the thin bedsheets. The light from the windows indicated morning. My sores and bruises ached terribly, and, trembling, I touched my face. It was cold, unlike I expected it to be burning hot. 'Just a dream.' I comforted myself. This was extremely new. I almost never had dreams, le alone nightmares as strong as these. I usually drowsed off to darkness and woke up from it. No visions or memories, just darkness. That, I thought was normal.I've had it my whole life. A quick pace of footsteps ran near m room and a brisk knock on the door followed. "Tora, Tora, can I come in?" The nervous voice of Sebastian asked. "S-sure." I stuttered, wrapping my arms around my legs and burying my head in the space between. If it was true...would Sebastian hurt me? He seems so loving, so kind. At times I even think I see pity and mixed feelings in his eyes, but I could be wrong. His steps slowly became closer. A warm hand touched my back, I couldn't help but flinch. He didn't seem to notice, or choose not to. "Tora." His voice soft and comforting, I almost forgot the idea that he could be the monster in my dreams. I lifted my wet and crusted eyes to met his beautiful ones. He didn't smile, just stared at me. I didn't need to see his smile to know he felt feelings for me, but what type I still didn't know. "S-sebb-y." I hiccuped. He was taken back from the nickname I called him but  quickly took me in his arms. "Tell me." He cooed, sitting down on the messy bed. I shook my head. " Y-you'll leave again," I said, remembering how he was gone by the time I finished spilling out my life story. "Tora, tell me. I know you don't want to, but I can't help you if you don't." I shook my head once again, and said something I didn't even plan to. "Play for me." I said shyly. "Excuse me?" He cocked his head to the side. " Play for me. I know you play the violin." I said louder. He chuckled. "Very well. I'll be right back." He lay me down as swiftly and gently as he could and speed walked out the door. In a moment, he was carrying a new-looking violin. He stood near my bed and started playing a soothing melody, so much different than the dream. It filled the silence like a beautiful maiden, dancing smoothly and dreamily across the room. His eyes were closed, fully engrossed in the music. He opened them for a second and smiled when he saw me watching him with intent eyes, fogged with the effect he was giving me. Even after the song ended, he started to play another. This one a little more rapid and less like a waltz,  but still as dreamy and soothing as the first. When he finished,  I clapped energetically, and he bowed. " Will you tell me now?"  He put down the violin and sat down next to me. I nodded slowly, still trying to find a way out of this. "Aren't you supposed to be with Ciel?" I asked. "He has no need of me at the moment. " I gulped. "So, I w-was in this mansion, it was irregularly quiet. I went out and stood in the hallway. I heard some kind of melody. So I entered  the room and saw you playing the violin. I called for you, but you just stood there. When you turned around, the word 'demon' kept on appearing in my head and kept on getting louder until Icouldn' hear anything except that. You neared my face nad your eyes, the-they were like fire. And when you touched me I melted." I shivered. I looked at him, and he was no longer the kind person I saw playing the violin. HIs hard reddish eyes glowed and became a fiery red. I jolted ,scared out of my mind. He reached out to me,and I curled myself into a ball, ready for the fate I had seen. "Oh, my dear Tora." He sobbed, and I felt myself being elapsed in this strong hands. I was still shivering and whimpering. "Tora, kitten, please." He begged. " I mean no harm at all. But you must know the truth or your dreams will-" He paused. I looked up and leaned on his shoulder, ready to hear his story. He stroked my cheek. " I am a demon. I am bound to Ciel by a contract, meaning I protect him till his death.  When he dies, I eat his soul." He didn't stop stroking my cheek. This hit me like a boulder. My eyes became round and I tried to scramble out of his hands. "Tora, please understand, I mean no harm for you." He pleaded. I stopped and closed my eyes, shivering wildly. "E-eyes." I whispered. H seemed to understand and his eyes became softer. " Better?" He asked. I looked into them and nodded. They were a misty pink, better than the blood red. I snuggled into him, covered in his warmth. A chuckle rumbled through his chest. " You really are a kitten, aren't you?" I felt a pair of lips on m forehead. " Let's clean out those wounds, shallwe
