I had a dream that I was having the time of my life at this Halloween  party

I had a dream that I was having the time of my life at this Halloween  party. I looked good, my friends look good, and my brother looked good as well. We were all drunk, some sloppy drunk, some horny drunk--drunk to say the least, and it looked like this was going to have a great end. We were going to go home, sleep off our hang over, and then get back to work on Monday with a boatload of stories to tell.

But then things changed when over the loud bass of the music, we heard the sound of police sirens. And then things got hectic when we saw the red and blue lights flash through the house from the expensive ass windows. Now usually the owner of the house would open the door, receive a fair warning from the police, we'd turn down the music and continue on with our partying. But being the fact that a good seventy five percent of the guests in the house were underage and drunk, we knew the consequences were going to be a lot harsher than a simple warning.

So as soon as word spread that the police was outside, it became a race to see who could get out the quickest.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a dream. I didn't have one hundred percent recollection of last night, but I remember to the tea the feeling of panic when I could only find two of the members of the group that I came with. Nia and Alisha were by my side two houses down calling Claire and Adele's phone desperately. Our worst fear was that they were going to get arrested, and that was not something that any of us wanted to experience. Thankfully, at the end of the day, Claire returned to us safely, and Adele was in good hands with her boyfriend Leo.

Samir offered to drive us back to our dorm room, which was great because we had yet to call an Uber, and we did not want to wait in the middle of nowhere for one. Plus, we were all tired as hell, somewhat emotional, and hungry. These were things we could all deal with in the comfort of our dorm room.

It was one o'clock in the afternoon now, and I was just now waking up. Unsurprisingly, I was the first one up, and the others (Nia and Alisha crashed in my dorm) were still asleep. Claire and Alisha slept in what appeared to be an uncomfortable position on the small full bed. Nia slept on the floor, using a stack of blankets to support her back, and some of my throw pillows to support her neck. I sat up from my position on the bed, and a rush of pain emitted itself into my head. Groaning, I placed a tender hand on my temple, leaning my head back slowly onto the wall. My stomach rumbled and the feel of emptiness left an uncomfortable feel towards the pit of my stomach. All in all, I woke up feeling like shit.

I hopped off the bed slowly, tip-toeing my way towards the kitchen area. I needed some Ibuprofen, but first, I needed to feed myself before I passed out. I don't remember eating much last night--only how good those chips and dips were. I grabbed an apple from the refridgerator, and poured a glass of apple juice into a plastic cup before searching through our basic ass medicine cabinet for some Ibuprofen.

Sitting myself down, I took a bite of my apple and leaned back.

The lights were off in the kitchen and I was glad. I never really was good with bright lights, but with this hang over, I'm sure the bright lights of the kitchen would only make me feel even more like death. Taking a final bite of my apple, I tossed the core into the slowly overflowing waste bin. I downed two pills of Ibuprofen before I headed back towards my bed. Slowly but surely, the others were beginning to wake up, with Nia being the first to regain consciousness. She streeetched her arms out. Her eyes widened, before a panicked expression fell on her face.
