Harmony Olivia Collins
I honestly don't know how I couldn't tell I was pregnant.
I only sleep this much when I am.
I woke up to Tamir, walking into the room.
"What time is it?" I asked while rubbing my eyes.
"1:15." He said, checking his phone.
"In the morning?" I said, bug-eyed.
He nodded and sat next to me.
"Fuck, I'm sorry I slept so long." I said as I got out of the bed.
I hopped in the shower, standing under the water.
I rubbed my stomach, thinking about life.
I was having another baby and still wasn't nowhere near married to Tamir.
I grabbed my poof, putting soap on it.
It's not like I wasn't happy that I was pregnant.
Holding a child was one of my favorite things on Earth.
It's the thought that I was having another kid for a nigga who wouldn't even commit to me.
I finished up, tying my hair up in a bun.
I slipped on my underwear and walked out in my robe.
Tamir was sitting up, typing on his phone.
I laid next to him as he looked at me.
"You look mad." He said as he turned back to his phone.
I shook my head as to say no.
"I can tell." He said as he kept scrolling. "We been together for 10 years."
"I'm good, really." I said as I moved closer to him.
He wrapped his arm around me.
"You look good with your glasses, I wish you wore them more." I said.
He leaned in, kissing me briefly.
"I love you, Harmony." He said as he stared at me.
"I love you too." I said as I pulled at his chin hair.
"I plan on showing you." He said as he pushed a piece of hair behind my ear.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Don't worry about it now." He said, smirking.
I cuddled under him, taking in his scent.
"I'm not tired." I said in his chest.
He laughed and turned on the TV.
"Ooh, turn on Love Jones." I said as he scrolled.
He did so and set the remote down.
He kissed my shoulder then my neck.
These are the moments that I loved about him.
Mir was such a roughneck but with me, he was a big softy.
I heard light snoring behind me, making me roll my eyes.
I continued watching the movie, falling asleep soon after.
