I rolled over and the sun caught my engagement ring, making it shine.

Tamir walked in the room as soon as I put my phone down.
He crawled in bed, laying his head on my stomach.
"You hurting my baby with ya big ass head." I said as I pushed him off me.
He smacked his lips but laid next to me anyway.
"Where the kids?" I asked.
"Moms came and got them." He said as he started to kiss on my stomach.
"Stop, that tickles!" I said as I tried to push him away from me.
He held me down, continuing to kiss me.
I kicked my foot and he stopped.
I realized I hit him in his stomach from all his coughing.
"I'm sorry!" I said as I sat up to tend to him.
"Damn, Harmony. When ya lil ass feet get so strong?" He said as he stood up from the bed.
"I used to stomp bitches, I still do." I said as I got out of bed, laughing.
I slid on some leggings and a tank top, leaving out the room.
"Ooh, I want Chinese." I grabbed the menu and ordered for me and Tamir.
Tamir came down, sitting across from me.
"I ordered Chinese." I said as I walked to him.
I sat in his lap as he rubbed my thigh, nodding.
He grabbed my hand and rubbed his finger over my ring.
"You did a good job." I said.
"You can thank Mom and your friends." He chuckled.
"You didn't pick it?" I said with a laugh.
"The one I picked was too big, you probably wouldn't like it." He shrugged.
"Bigger than this? Probably not." I said as I admired it.
I was a simple girl, too big of a ring would've turned me off.
"I love it and I love you." I said as I kissed him.
He nodded and continued to rub my thigh.
We sat in a comfortable silence until the food came.
I grabbed it and we sat on the couch, watching TV and sharing food.
I lived for these moments and I love them.
I hope, even after we're married, we can do this.
