Tamir Laith Wright
I unwrapped my arms from around Harmony and got in the shower.
I was going out do some important things today.
I threw on some clothes and kissed Harmony on her forehead, leaving out the room.
The kids were sitting on the couch, yawning.
I picked them both up, taking them out the house.
We pulled up to my mom's house and she came and got the kids.
"I'll be by later." I said as I got back in the car.
She waved me off, going in the house and closing the door.
I pulled in the parking lot to see Ahmad and Denzel in their cars.
"Nigga, how you tell us to be here at a certain time?" Ahmad said.
"And then be late?" Denzel spoke after him.
I smacked my lips.
"Man, whatever. I'm here." I said as we walked into the jewelry store.
I scaled the walls before a lady came up to us.
"Can I help you?" She asked us.
"I'm looking for a few things." I said as we followed her.
We talked for an hour before I finalized my purchase.
"Come back again." She said as we left out.
Me and the guys chopped it up before we headed separate ways.
As soon as I got in the car, Harmony called me.
"Where are you and the kids?" She asked instantly.
"With Ma. I'm out." I said as I pulled off.
"Out where?" She questioned.
"Getting shit done, Harmony." I sighed.
"Mhm, whatever Tamir. When you coming home?" She asked.
"On my way now." I said as I pulled into IHOP's parking lot.
"Can you bring me breakfast?" She said quietly.
"Yeah." I said as I got out.
"Thank you, Mir. I love you." She said.
I responded and we hung up.
That attitude gotta go.
I ordered our food and called my mom.
"Can I leave this at your house? She'll find it if I take it home?" I asked.
"Of course! I'll keep it safe." She answered.
"Do you need me to come get the kids?" I said.
"No, I'm gonna keep them. They're sleeping." She laughed.
I shook my head.
Just like they mama.
We made small talk and I hung up when our food was ready.
I took it home, making it there in 15 minutes.
Harmony sat across from me at the table, eating.
"Where'd you go?" She asked me.
I smirked, not saying anything.
"You not gon tell me?" She asked again.
I shook my head no, making her roll her eyes.
"Fine, Tamir. Don't ask me for shit." She said, stomping around the kitchen.
She walked near me so I pulled her into my arms.
"Let me go." She said, trying to move my arms.
I kissed on her face, making her start slapping me away.
I laughed, keeping her next to me.
"You'll know where I went soon enough." I said, making her smack her lips.
I let her go and she moved around the room, making quieter footsteps.
I smirked, knowing that she was calm now.
Yeah, this needed to be done and soon.
