Ch25: Second Chance

-Shays Pov-

I woke up feeling sick. Not the
I have a cold sick,  but a what have I done kinda sick. I knew I had to talk to tobi but first I have to talk to Mr Fitz.

I got up off my bed and got dressed my twin was snoozing away when she started talking her sleep. She was mumbling my name along with something about a dress and if it looked good on her. I chuckled and tip toed out of the room and ran to the manor to find and talk to Mr Fitz i walked around toward the grand hall maybe he was eating breakfast I was just about to turn toward the grand hall doors when somebody came out of nowhere and picked me up before i could blink I was standing in Mr Fitz room. I looked over at him and spoke,

"Lu.... I mean Mr Fitz we can't continue this I don't like you this way"

"Shay don't say that"

"No listen I never really liked you in the first place. Mr Fitz my only love is Tobi. I love Tobias Delroy he is the one for me so you have to leave me alone don't call me by my first name ever again and don't even try to talk to me outside of class or I will have you fired from your job and banned from this school do you understand "

He nodded his head and picked me up in his arms,

"Mr Fitz what are you doing"

He spoke as he headed to the door

"I shall take you back to the grand hall miss Hastings as you don't want to see me anymore unless we are in class I am only respecting your wishes"

And with that he ran back to the grand hall put me down and was gone before anybody could notice I ran into the mess hall and scanned around looking for Tobi I couldn't see him so I ran to the secret library and sure enough he was sitting there holding a book our book the secret garden my favourite book the one I read to him when we are here together I sat down by him and he leaned in to kiss me I turned so his lips hit my cheek and I looked into his blue eyes

"Tobi I love you I really do but I am a bad person you don't deserve me"

My headed dropped as I stared at my shoes tears fighting to slip out of my eyes Tobi softly spoke

"What are you talking about love"

I gulped and told him everything that had happened starting with what went on before me and Tobi started up until me telling Mr Fitz I love Tobi and that he should leave me alone tears sliding down my face I looked over at Tobi straight into his big blue eyes that were filled with tears of his own

"I apologize for everything Tobi and in all honesty I love you it's always been you Tobi from the moment you asked me to be your partner in hunting class for the first time I knew deep down you're my mate my true love please Tobi ......please don't be too mad I can give you a few days if you want some space"

He stayed quiet and then he spoke,

"Shay as much as I am hurt I can see you feel just as bad so i forgive you I am going to give you a second chance because everyone deserves a second chance."

I Looked up at him and softly smiled,

"Really you are not going to get mad and tell me to stay away from you and that I ruined your life"

Tobi chucked and hugged me tight

"No I am no because I know you didn't mean to your a young girl you make mistakes everyone does that's how we learn and I know you learned your lesson also. I am glad that you told me instead of hiding it because that would be childish you did the mature thing by telling me.
I know your being honest I can see it in your eyes how bad you feel. Also I am your mate Shay Hastings I always have been yours and your mine I knew it just like you did. Thats why when I first saw you I just had to ask you to be my partner because I could feel it deep down you are my world , my life and one day in the future I hope you will become my wife."

I kissed Tobi with as much passion as I could loving the way his lips fit perfectly with mine like two puzzle pieces

"Tobias Delroy your crazy but I love you and yes when we are older I will become your wife"

Tobi smiled and handed me our book

"Why don't you read to me and we can just relax for the rest of the day after all it is the weekend"

I opened the book where the book mark was. The book mark was a red piece of string that I had found one day while looking at all the books on the shelfs when I flipped open our book To the book mark I noticed a ring a small silver ring with a heart that half of the heart was silver and half of it was made of diamonds it was tied to the book mark at the bottom I gasped and looked up at Tobi as soon as my eyes met his he whispered,

*The ring* 😊

"Promise me you will be mine for , forever"

I smiled and twirled the ring in my finger and then untied it,

"I promise to be yours for , forever and a day"

Tobi kissed me and slid the ring on to my finger and then pulled me into his chest and whispered,

"Read to me Shay "

We got comfortable Tobi laid down across the couch and I laid next to him like two spoons in a drawer and I read until we both drifted off to sleep the book still in one of my hands the other hand the one with the ring in Tobi's.
