The next few months flew by and before we knew it it was the end of of first year at dusk manor and time to take the final test.
Today was the day and all of us were scared I mean if we failed this test then we would be stuck here until we get tested once more before Christmas and then we would get to finally go home for a visit. Anyways I woke up early and got ready with Dee who looked exhausted and we ate some breakfast and headed to one of the ball rooms to take our final test it consisted of a hunting and thirst control. The hunting part was a big obstacle course to see how strong we were and how well we could hunt and dispose of the body along with a written test and the thirst control was us being put in house with a human family for 4 hrs and seeing if how well could control our thirst around humans That's the part I was most scared of.
Once we arrived at the ball room Dee smiled at me and whispered
"You can do this shay I know you can"
I whispered back
"Thanks."
We got split into groups and spent the day doing our tests and everything was going good until I got put in the house with the family. I was only inside for 1 hr fighting so hard to control it to fight the urge to rip their throats open and drink there tasty smelling blood and then I cracked and lunged mr Fitz came in out of nowhere pulling me back out of the house and holding me down he gave me a sorry look and got off me. I look at him for a long second, when he awkwardly moved his shoulders.

I ran off back to my dorm in tears. The next week could not go by any slower me and Dee did our last assignments and handed them in. She spent a lot of time with carter and I spent a lot of time locked in the dorm not wanting to see anybody once and a while I would let Tobi in and we would read and cuddle on my bed we would steal kisses from one another but never went any deeper then a kiss.

I freaked out every time Tobi tried I make out with me because it reminded me of those dark nights that happened a few months back on Thursday Tobi came to visit me one last time since tomorrow was our last day
