I watched the sun rise in the indigo sky, standing breathless on a concrete rooftop. The cool air pieced my skin, making me stand, perfectly awake, perfectly in awe. I saw the stars falter into oblivion and the dark, blue air turning to pink. My lungs felt clearer, my vision brighter. I thought of what I could do new and better, and mostly I thought of you, wondering if you could see how vast and memorable the skies and yourself were at this exact moment.
