Steven just sat there, speechless
that.just.happened. and all so fast
he sat there, processing all of what just happened.
Garnet walked to him and wrapped her arms around the lost boy, Steven closed his eyes and accepted the reassurance of Garnet. The beach was silent, all they felt like doing now was sulking. Pearl and Amethyst soon joined and hugged eachother in their thoughts.
The sound of the warp wrung
"Steven? Peridot? are you okay-" Lapis had flown in to the beach and saw their faces
"S-Steven! is everything okay?!" she asked worriedly
Steven had said sadly: "No, no it isn't"

Steven's POV
We decided to sleep on it tonight
I told Lapis about Peridot, so she decided to stay with us for a while
All of us kinda had a sleepover I guess? But noone was having fun
So when we were sleeping, I was still thinking of Peridot. We just let her leave... I already lost her
I need to do something.
Lion was poking at me. I asked him what was wrong

"Lion?"

"Is there.. something wrong?"
he nodded. What did he want?
He nuzzled his nose at a picture of me, Lapis and Peri
"Whatt're you going on about buddy?" Lion pawed the Peridot on the picture
"What about her?"
he looked at me as if I was stupid, I was.
"I know I know" "But what do I do?"
Lion slowly walked to the warp pad and tapped on it
"Where do I go?" He rolled my eyes at me and put me on his back. He took us to the Galaxy Warp
"Oh" "OOOOh"
I went to the warp. and looked at it. I concentrated and took a bit of saliva, I put it. It started doing the glowey-thing and...
IT WORKED!
b-but im not ready yet.
Ive heard some things of Homeworld, and it wouldn't be really great.
I need to prepare
I walked away, and took Lion back
"g'night Lion"
Peridot's POV
They poofed me, they took me to a cell and put me there. I reformed but still retaining my former form. It looked just like my ship, but this time I was the one behind the cell. I never realized how silent the ship can be.
"Hellooooooooo?"
nope. no answer. Three hours had past by, why does time go soooo slowly nowadays?
its probably because I was on Earth.
I heard someone walk and monologue baseless drivel
It was that Peridot
"Oh its you" I said out loud, she snickered at me
"you have quite the personality, don't you. Must've been the end product of that miserable planet" I glared at her, how dare she
I muttered "says the Peridot"
"excuse me, what did you say?"
"nothing"
"if you don't give me an answer-"
"OR WHAT?!" i snapped "YOU'LL LOCK ME UP? OH WAIT" i pointed to the barrier in front of me.
oh, she walked away. how great
now im stuck here
alone...
3rd person POV again
he packed everything up
tooth brush
food
pajamas?
he just wanted to get some clothes. He walked to the dresser and he stuffed his cheeseburger backpack with star-printed shirts and pants. He saw his phone sitting on his dresser, he decided to phone someone important...
"Connie?"
"Steven... Its 3 AM" Connie's voice whispered through the phone
"I need something to tell you, its important"
"w-what is it?"
"I'll be leaving for a while, so don't expect me to be here tomorrow"
"W-what, why?"
"I need to find something I lost"
"Wouldn't you find that in your house?" she then yawned
"No, She- It's not here, so can you explain to the gems when you come over for training?"
"yeah sure, just go to sleep now okay?"
"I'll try to do that" he hung up "...later"
he ran to Lion and said "I'm sorry but you have to protect the gems for me, okay?"
Lion nodded
"thanks Lion" he kissed the lion's muzzle
and her ran to the warp pad

The galaxy warp
he licked some saliva on to his hand, and quickly smacked it on the warp, whispering "please please work". It had glowed white and emerged fixed
he hi-fived himself
time to get his friend back
