"Maddy, Zoe, have you seen Josh" Elizabeth asked
"No, the last time I saw him, he was headding out to the farms with Skye" Maddy replied
"What's wrong mommy" Zoe looked up at Elizabeth
"There's a storm coming and it looks bad"
The girls all jumped as the wind blew the windows open, Maddy rushed to close them as Zoe ran to her mother.
"Elizabeth, can you hear me" Jims voice boomed over her comm
"Jim, I've got the girls with me, do you have Josh" She answered, hoping for the right response
"No I don't, I just got a call over the comms from him, he's stuck in the storm and Skye is hurt. I'm heading out with Taylor to go get them, can you get to the hospital"
That was not what she wanted to hear "Sure, I'll be there"
A knock at the door took their attention, Elizabeth went to check who was there.
"Mark" She said, taken back
"Hi Mrs. Shannon, I'm here to get you to the hospital" he stood at attention
"Thank you, Maddy, I'm headding out, I'll be back as soon as i can" Elizabeth hugged her daughters
"I'll come back and stay with them if you'd like" Mark offered
Elizabeth nodded as she grabbed her scrubs.
"Mommy" Zoe said, tears in her eyes
"It's ok Zoe, Mark and Maddy will be here, I have to go help Skye"
She hugged the girls again and ran out of the house with Mark. People were runnign all over the place, all trying to get to cover before things got too bad. Mark pulled open the door and ushered Elizabeth in.
"Thank you" She yelled over the wind
"No problem ma'am, I'll take care of the girls"

"H-llo, ca- an-bo-y -ear me, -his is Jo-h Sha--on, he-o" A voice lit up the comms
"Hello, Josh where are you" the come crackled
"Da-d" Josh asked
"Josh, where are you" Jims asked
"Uh, w-'-e in -ne of --e far- -heds, the ro-f collaps-d and Skye go- hit, s-e's bleeding a-- not respo-ding" Josh stammered
"Stay there, Taylor and I are on our way" The comm cut out, static buzzed through
Taylor steered the rover towards the farms, pulling up as three sheds came into view. They all had quite a bit of damage from the stones, but only one was missing a roof.
"That one" Jim yelled
They crashed through the door, giving them some cover to get the kids. Jim kicked open his door and screamed for Josh.
"DAD"
Jim spun around and saw the opened hatch, he called Taylor and they ran down the flight of stairs.
"Josh, what happened" Taylor asked
"One of the hail stones hit her, she won't wake up"
"Let's get her into the rover, your mom is waiting for us in the hospital" Jim said, lifting Skye from Josh
The rover slipped over the blanket of ice and water, skidding to a halt as they arrived at the hospital. Taylor jumped out and ran to Josh's door, he took Skye and moved swiftly into the building. Even though he was still mad at her, Taylor wouldn't want Skye to get hurt. She was the closest thing he had to a child, well, a child that didn't want him dead.
"Doc" Taylor yelled as they manovered through to the nearest bed
"Nurse Ogawa" Elizabeth called
The two worked fast, cleaning the gash that covered part of Skye's head. When she was stable, Elizabeth let the nurse take care of what was left.
"So how is she" Josh asked, running up to his mother
"She's stable, but we won't know for sure what damage has been done until she wakes up. There was some swelling as well as a fracture, but I think that you got her here in time. Commander, I think it might be best if you go and get Deborah. She must be worried sick about Skye" Elizabeth placed her hand on Taylors shoulder
"Sure thing Doc"
"Now let's take a look at you, any major pain" Elizabeth turned to her son
"No, I'm fine, just a few bruises. When will she wake up" Josh asked
"Not for a while I'm afraid, she very lucky that the impact alone didn't kill her" She looked out the window "The hail has stopped for now, why don't you go home, I'll keep you posted if anything happens"
