Now I'm not surprised that the usual fan fiction is about a new girl, after all, that would make the most sense, but I wish it wasn't the same thing over and over again.
Like I understand it's just easier to make your character the new girl and all, but what about AU's and new storylines? I wouldn't even be angry if you made your character the fucking ruler of South Korea, all I care is that she has a new backstory instead of:
Girl come to Ouran
Girl joins club
Past catches up with girl
Girl falls in love
Happily ever after
*cough cough* totally have never written a new girl story before...
