I was casually walking down the hallways with my friends at hogwarts when I noticed Riddle walking towards us. He paused in front of me and asked if I could go somewhere 'private' with him. I of course said yes.
I should have heeded Her advice... But he seemed so nice.
We stood in an empty hallway and he smiled down at me. He took hold of both of my hands and confessed he had feelings for me. I of course confirmed that I too had feelings for him.
And he showed me things Many beautiful things, That I hadn't thought to explore.
Tom took me into the forbidden forest even though I was hesitant. I didn't regret going with him becuase that was when I got to see a unicorn in person for the first time. I also got to get kissed for the first time.
They were off my path, So I never had dared. I had been so careful, I never had cared.
I always was a good student and never tried to break the rules until I met Riddle. He had given me a taste of being a little bit rebelious and I wanted more.
And he made me feel excited- Well, excited and scared.
One day he told me to meet him in the girls bathroom, I of course now craving to be rebellious said yes.
When he said, "Come in!" With that sickening grin, How could I know what was in store?
Once I entered the girls bathroom I saw Tom smiling down at me, but it wasnt the same smile he had when he admitted his feelings.
Once his teeth were bared, Though, I really got scared- Well, excited and scared-
He told me he had something exciting to show me. I felt a weird feeling in my stomach but ignored it figuring I just ate too much at lunch.
But he drew me close And he swallowed me down, Down a dark slimy path Where lie secrets that I never want to know
Riddle opened what seemed to be a trapped door under one of the sinks and made a hand motion suggesting for you to go in it.
And when everything familiar Seemed to disappear forever, At the end of the path, Was Granny once again.
I slid down the tunnel holding back a scream, but once I landed at the bottom I saw the bones and couldn't hold it back any longer.
So we wait in the dark Until someone sets us free, And we're brought into the light, And we're back at the start.
Tom came sliding down too and I heard him speak some weird language before I saw something slithering from the shadows.
And I know things now, Many valuable things, That I hadn't known before:
My eyes fluttered open and I loooked around realizing this in fact was not where Riddle had taken me.
Do not put your faith In a cape and a hood, They will not protect you The way that they should.
The nurse explained to me what happened and my chest started to hurt. I wasn't sure what this feelings was but it was suffocating.
And take extra care with strangers, even flowers have their dangers. And though scary is exciting, Nice is different than good.
Then I realized what this feeling was that crushed down on me,
Now I know: Don't be scared. Granny is right, Just be prepared.
