Chapter 6

Abby pov

The rest of the day dragged, I had fun with gabby and her friends well I suppose now I could say my friends, it was a pretty good first day actually but I just couldn’t wait for it to end so I could go out with milo.

 Turns out he’d had every class with me today, he’d kept a pretty close eye on me making sure everyone moved so I could sit next to him and even pulling the bleach blonde bitch to one side telling her to stop the evils, yeah I was embarrassed he’d done that but it felt nice to have someone look out for me for a change. I only had one class without him tomorrow but I had Dan so at least I had someone I knew and milo had already told him to watch me much to dans amusement to which I think his exact words were “well duh” which I couldn’t help but laugh at

 Dan was so funny and they all included me in their group and made me feel like I’d been there all along, I secretly knew it had a lot to do with milo making them but I didn’t care I finally fit in and even though it was my first day I felt like I’d been here with them from the start. There was just something about milo that made me feel at home.

 I was sat waiting for the bell to ring on the last class chewing on the end of my pen not paying the slightest bit of attention to anyone, especially the teacher, miss warrant I think she was called, like I said I wasn’t paying attention.

 I found myself drifting off and daydreaming about later on, where we would go, what we would do, would he kiss me, I mean I’m sure we would have kissed earlier if gabby hadn’t walked out. I felt myself flushing scarlet as I thought about him kissing me, was it too soon I mean wed only just met, but those tingles and shudders, the lightening they must mean something. I felt my hand reach to my pendant twirling it around my thumb absentmindly like I always did when I had something on my mind, I didn’t even realise I did it most times I was just second nature to me.

 The bell rang jumping me out of my daydream; I quickly glanced around to class to see everyone running out of the door heading for home. I couldn’t help but smile, I’d already txt aunt jen letting her know not to expect me until later she text back with a smiley face telling me it was ok and I had to give her details when I got home.

 I had chuckled when id received that message, my aunt was so cool, she was my dad’s sister and never mentioned him except to tell me he loved me more than anything. She was more like a big sister than an aunt.

 Pulling my black shoulder bag up of the floor I pushed my text books in crumpling them up and I rammed them in in a hurry. I stood up and looked to my side to see milo smiling stood at his desk waiting for me

 “so you ready” he asked warmly holding his hand out for me to grab and pull me up, as I did familiar sparks flying up my arm down my body making me gasp earning me a beaming smile of milo.

 “So you feel it too” he asked bending down to pick my bag up for me keeping hold of my hand

 I nodded feeling my cheeks warm up, “you don’t need to carry that I can get it” I muttered looking at my bag in his arms as he flung it over his shoulder

 “Don’t be stupid plus I think it rather suits me” he laughed letting go of my hand and doing a little twirl making camp had movements.

 I had to laugh as he strutted out of the classroom into the corridor towards his friends
