ZEUS & ZEREF

He guided me towards the dancing area. May mga napatingin sa'ming babae. I could notice the bitter looks in their faces. Hehe.

Pinatong niya ang dalawa kong kamay sa kaniyang balikat, then he made me face him. "Don't mind those girls. Hindi ka naman siguro tomboy," he smirked. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin, at mahina lang siyang tumawa.

"So why did you want to become a Semideus, mortal?" he asked while sliding his arms to my back.

"Bakit ka curious?"

He shrugged, "Just wanted some conversation. Malay mo, huling pagkikita na natin 'to. Mailap akong tao." Luh, hindi halata.He started swaying, and wala akong nagawa kun'di sumunod sa galaw ng kaniyang paa.

"I have no memories. I came here to win the heart of Mnemosyne, and-" I was suddenly cut off by his laugh.

"Mnemosyne rarely shows herself. Pero sabagay, kung nasa mortal world ka, mas maliit ang tyansya mong makita si Mnemosyne. It's just a little off. You're risking your life just for your memories."

"Excuse me?" I shot him a glare. "How dare you say just for my memories? Alam mo bang ang empty sa pakiramdam nang walang alaala? Maybe you don't have enough good memories to say that."

Naging seryoso na ang mukha niya ngayon. I suddenly noticed his thin almond eyes, and slightly thick eyebrows. His thin reddish lips were pursued, and his jaw was perfectly sculpted up to his chin. His features were a little soft, but the expression in his face told me otherwise. How can a man make me so insecure!

"You're right, I don't have," he said. "Ano naman sa'yo ngayon? Would you create good memories with me, Xynthea?" He chuckled, and clicked his tongue.

"Memories are burdens for me. It's like a strong gravity force preventing me to fly and move forward. It's like a quotation mark, clinging to my sentence and preventing me from continuing it. I don't like memories. I hate it."

Napaawang ang labi ko. Hindi ko akalaing may tao palang ganiyan ang paniniwala! Or is it because I was longing for memories? Nagulat ako nang hilahin niya ako papalapit sa kaniya.

"So I suggest you to stop looking for your memories, and just create new ones, hm?" he nonchalantly said.

Napatalon ako nang may humawak sa balikat ko. Nilingon ko ang humawak sa'kin. Huh? Who's this? He has blonde hair, and his eyes were sky blue. He looks a more matured and older version of Zeref... Zeus?!

But Zeus can't show his true form to mortals, 'di ba?

"Zeref," bati niya. "Long time no see. What brings you here to the Olympian Ball? Glad I saw you today, napaka-ilap mo." So, it was true. Mailap na tao si Zeref.

Zeref just scoffed. Binitawan niya ako, kaya't bumitaw na rin ako sa kaniya. However, his left arm snaked my waist.

"What do you need, Father?" Confirmed! This is Zeus, pero bakit nakikita ko ata ang true form n'ya?

This time Lord Zeus looked at me, "I noticed a connection with her." Namilog kaagad ang mata ko dahil d'on. Connection?! Siya ang magiging mentor ko?

"H'wag mo akong lokohin, Zeus. If it's true, what is her name then?"

Zeus had this smug look on his face. "Xynthea," he proudly answered. "After a decade, I finally met someone with my connection. Ikaw na ang pangalawa kong magiging mentee after Zeref."

Naramdaman kong humigpit ang hawak sa'kin ni Zeref. He sighed heavily, "Please tell me you are joking."

"Woah, sorry Zeref. I'm not," tumawa si Zeus at nilahad ang kaniyang kamay. "You can see my true form since you're a Semideus now. I'm Zeus, King of the Gods. God of the Skies and Lightning. And now, also your mentor, Xynthea."

Tatanggapin ko na sana ang kamay ni Zeus nang tanggapin 'yon ni Zeref. "Good. Expect that I'll be attending your trainings from now on, ngayong may kasama na ako."

Zeus laughed, "Let's see what will happen, child."
