TWILIGHT
"Puyat ka, Xynthea?" tanong sa'kin ni Damon.
Umiling ako, kahit na medyo puyat naman talaga! We got home at almost 10 pm, and I spent the rest of the night to midnight thinking. Maaga pa akong nagising dahil... wala lang? Nag-isip lang ako ulit.
Well, after I woke up, wala namang Zeref na umaligid sa'kin. Scam lang ata na 'I'lL keEp An eYe oN YoU' niya, but I always see to it na wala akong ginagawang nakakahiya like nangungulangot or nag-aayos ng bra... kasi baka nga nanonood, hindi ba?
Creepy, lol.
"Nas'an na kaya si Diane?" nagaalalang wika ni Aster. Yup, Diane's the only one not around, and it's already 4 PM.
"We can't go without her," dagdag pa niya.
I smiled to make the atmosphere little lighter, "Baka naman nalate lang nang kaunti."
"That's unlikely of her," Damon said.
Suddenly, Irish- with a mask- got in between of us. I could see the smile in her eyes, then she waved at me. Binalik ko naman 'yon.
"We'll help you find Diane," suhestiyon niya. "Just don't leave without her. There's no specific time naman, right?"
Aster nodded. "Yes. Thank you, Irish," wika niya na may halong... pag-aalinlangan o kaba?
"What's wrong, Aster?" wika ni Irish, at nagtaas ng isang kilay. "I can feel your emotions."
She can? "I'm a daughter of a messenger Goddess, and part of being a messenger is being able to interpret one. That is why."
Aster sighed heavily. "Napanaginipan ko 'to... bago pa tayo magsimula sa lahat. I'm afraid it wasn't a dream, but a prediction."
Irish raises her hands up to the air and made a symbol, siguro para sa iba pang Rebels na nasa gilid lang.
"What's the dream about, Aster?" tanong ko naman.
She looked at me, then looked up. "There was rain, and then an endless twilight."
In an instant, the rain poured. Nangilabot naman ako. Kakasabi lang ni Aster, pero umulan na kaagad.
"The twilight lasted for long, and the moons didn't rise too much."
"I dreamt of Diane, being lost. Then, a ball of water around her. Time stopped, before she was almost executed."
"Executed?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Irish. "Why the Olympus would she be executed?!"
"Hindi ko rin alam. It's like everything is repeating. The Gods... almost killed her before we all had distorted memories that day, and now we still do not know the reason behind everything," tugon ni Aster.
"Wews. Wala akong alam d'yan, pero it's weird ha," biglang singit ni Irish.
Aster gulped. "There are three moon goddesses: Selene, Hecate, and then Artemis is missing, so the moon won't shine completely; thus, there will be twilight all throught the night."
"What else did you dream of?" muntik na akong mapatalon nang bigla kong narinig ang boses ni Zeref sa likod ko.
Nang mapalingon ako, napatingala ako sa kaniya, at bahagyang umisod para magkaroon kami ng distansya.
His eyebrow slightly raised because of that, pero binalik na rin naman niya agad ang tingin niya kay Aster.
"Llyr. He was there too. I think because it has something to do with water," paliwanag ni Aster.
"Poseidon?" ngayon nama'y si Gideon ang nagsalita. "Do you think your Father is involved in this, Llyr?"
Oh! So Llyr's father is Poseidon! The God of the Seas. That explains kung ba't sobrang galing niyang magmanipula ng tubig.
Llyr let out a sharp exhale, "I don't know anything about my own father. Ni hindi niya nga alam na anak n'ya ako."
He doesn't? Woah. Pwede ba 'yon?
Aster sighed. "Hanapin na muna natin siya, at kapag wala siya kahit s'an sa isla, then we talk to Lord Zeu—"
"Don't," pigil ni Zeref. "Don't trust Zeus. Anyone of the Gods, do not trust them."
"B-bakit naman?" hindi ko napigilang tanong. They are Gods, why not trust them?
He looked at me, stared for five seconds before sighing like everyone else. I sighed a little dahil nainggit ako, lols!
"We lost some of our memories. Who did that? The Gods. Diane was kicked out by the Gods, because of what reason? Hindi rin natin alam. Gideon almost died because of the Gods. Now tell me, do you think we should trust them, Xynthea?"
Napakagat ako sa ibabang labi ko dahil sa sobrang seryoso ng pagkakasabi niya. Hindi ako nakasagot agad.
"Then what should we do?" tanong ni Aster.
"We watch their actions, but we must focus more on the sea Gods based on your previsions."
Aster nodded. "How about Artemis? Paano natin siya mahahanap?"
"Duh!" Irish said. "Sabi nga ng Oracle of Dodona, do not seek for her. We need to look for Diane firs—"
And in less than a second, all Rebels got out of our sight. Nagtaka pa kami n'ong una, ngunit kalaunan, na-gets ko na rin.
They knew that a God was near, and now, he's calling our attention.
"Dad!" bati agad ni Aster, nanlaki ang mata n'ya nang makita si Apollo na bumaba mula sa chariots niya.
He ran to us and suddenly said, "Where is Diane?"
"W-wala po siya rito," tugon ni Aster.
Apollo tightly shut his eyes, and cursed harshly.
"We must find her immediately," mabilis na sabi ni Apollo.
And with what he said, everyone's jaw dropped.
"She is the daughter of Artemis."
