I walked into the party, my arm linked through Michaela's

I so needed this right now, I was absolutely furious at Caleb!

Read my mind? He didnt think to tell me this before?!

I closed my eyes and take a deep breath, I just needed to calm down. That's all

"what's wrong with you?" Michaela asked, stopping me at the foot of the stairs.

"You seem so angry and distracted." She pouted, her full lips were coated with lipgloss.

"Oh nothing." I pasted on a huge smile.

I'm just attached to a dog is all.

I stiffled a giggle, he was a dog and he acted like one.

Michaela picked up two water guns from the table, It was a water party, if you weren't armed or wet, you were toast.

She squirted me and handed me mine, running away.

"Come on!" I groaned and chased her.

After an hour of running around and shooting people with water guns, I collapsed on the bricks around the pool, I was absolutely soaking wet!

I giggled from my high, as a cute guy sat cross legged beside me.

I eyed him, he seemed unarmed.

"You're cute." He stated, smiling at me arrogantly. 

"Thanks." I replied shortly.

He was cute but he doesnt seem my type.

Then again, I thought Caleb wasn't my type and Arnold was.

Maybe I should just live a little?

"So are you." I added on flirtingly, I got up, leaning on my elbows.

"I know." he replied cockily, smirking at me.

I just wanted to smack that smirk off his face, it reminded me so much of...

No! do not think about him, he's no where near by, I am angry at him.

"We should hook up." He said nonchalantly, eyeing my body.

A shiver went down my spine.

Is he crazy?! I'm not banging him! The last time I did that with someone it allowed them to read my dam mind!

"Uh..." I tried to think up a good excuse but a low deep growl sounded from behind me.

I leaned my head back to see who it was.

Caleb...

My heart skipped a beat.

"Back off." Caleb whispered threateningly.

"Alright man, calm down." The cute guy got up and stomped off. Caleb took his place beside me.

"You know, You dont own me." I sat up and snapped at him.

"Oh please, you and I both know he isnt your type." Caleb rolled his eyes at me

Anger flashed through my eyes.

"yeah well? Neither are you!" I glared at him

A flash of hurt crossed his face, but disappeared just as fast.

"Fine, then I'll go!" he got up and I grabbed his hand.

"No, Caleb, I'm sorry, I guess I'm just still mad about the mind reading thing." He sat down again and nodded.

This would take some getting used to. 

I tried to not think about the evil plan I had brewing.

Instead I forced myself to think about wanting to kiss him.

"Kiss me." I whispered as seductively as I could.

He smirked and leaned in, getting ready to kiss me.

Just as he leaned over me, his lips pressed against mine, I placed my hands on his chest.

I pushed him into the water shocking him.

Take that.

I grinned evily as he resurfaced.

"Nicely played." He got up, his muscles in his biceps flexing as he pulled himself up.

"But Just remember sweetheart... Pay back is a bitch." He winked and walked away.

Oh shit.

A/N: hey guys, sorry it's so short! I have been baby sitting since yesterday afternoon and I'm EXHAUSTED. but I wanted to get something out for you guys before falling asleep!

I will make tomorrow's chapter much longer!
