[Ch. 16] Strangers?

?'s P.O.V

The boy stands up and turns towards me. I stand up as well.
"What's your name?" He asks.
"My name is-" before I could finish, a man walks out of the apartment building.
"Who the hell is this?" The man walks up to teenager.
"I...I don't know...He just-" The guy cuts him off before he can finish.
"He just what. Tell me he just what?!" He grabs the younger male by the front of his sweatshirt.
"Mike please I can't take anymore." He begs. "Please don't hit me."
The older guy doesn't pay any attention to what he has to say, he just grabs the kid by the junk.
"Ah!" He lets out, tensing up.
"Get upstairs. Punishment is coming your way." The man growls punching him across the side of his head. The kid fell to the ground as the side of his head starts bleeding. It looks as if he's unconscious...
"Ugh. You got lucky." He leans down. "Just wait until tomorrow." Then, he walks off.
"Are you awake??" I shake this random teenager lightly and look at his face. I couldn't just let him freeze to death out here. I pick him up and bring him to my car, putting him down in the back seat and sitting next to him. I blasted the heat and decide to stay with him Until he wakes up.
"Wake up..." I shake him lightly. "Come on...Wake up, Vincent."
