I'm going to break up with Landon. And no, it's not because of Dave. It's because he's moving. To UK. I just have the best luck in love, right? Rolls eyes. Anyway, he got a scholarship for Cambridge. It's a really good opportunity, and who am I to stand against his dreams. He deserves this, I really wish him the best.
Maybe I should take all of this as a sign. Maybe I should be single for a while. And figure things out alone. Everything is just so confusing. I have no idea how Dave feels, or how I feel. Lately I have been going through this weird phase. Where Dave was still the Dave I fell in love with. Sweet, caring, compassionate. But then all the horrible things that he'd done and said came rushing back to me, hitting me full force. I'm so full of resentment.
Maybe it's time to forgive him. Maybe that could be my first step in moving on. You know, forgive but don't forget. The question is, can you really forgive if you can't forget?
