3rd Person POV
The beautiful woman walked quickly down the passage. She was fiddling with her hands as she muttered to herself. She reached the door at the end of the passage and opened it.
She walked inside and looked around. The League of Assassins had many secrets, but this was by far the worst. The woman walked to the strange tub and looked inside.
The liquid inside was murky and blue, it didn't smell good either. The woman looked behind her shoulder nervously. She reached out her hand and was about to touch the liquid when a voice at the back of the room called out to her.
"Heir, I do not believe your father permitted you to be in here." the voice said as the person stepped out of the shadows. "I need to do it Maharib." The stunning woman said. "It is the only way." she added quietly.
"It is not the only way! You can save the League differently." Maharib pleaded with the Heir of The League of Assassins. "It is best if I leave. Only I can handle these waters. You must go." the woman said as she glanced at the stone tub.
The man grabbed her chin and made her look into his eyes. "Please... I need you." he pleaded once more. Tears swam in the woman's eyes. She needed to do this for her home, it was the only way.
"I'm sorry... I love you Maharib." she said quietly and she fell backwards, into the churning liquid that would kill anyone. The man screamed in pain and heartbreak, jumping in after the love of his life.
Immediately, the enchanted waters killed him, for he was not the Heir to The League of Assassins. While he died, the waters changed the Heir.
She changed physically and mentally. She changed completely and became one of the first metahumans to walk the earth. She became the first immortal...
Hi. That is just how our main character is created. PLEASE! Do not complain to me that she isn't the first immortal and all that jazz, I know. But for reason for this book, she will be. Zayn Malik is Maharib, though that isn't really important. Maharib translates to Warrior in Arabic.
