AN: The same friend that requested the previous prompt also requested "turtles", so I gave him turtles... well, a turtle.
The triplets have brought something inside and put it in Merida's bed and mother of all things holy, it moves.
"Hey," It says, and, "I'm a turtle."
With her back against the door, Merida waves a fraction and jumps when it moves its flipper.
"Can you help me get into some water?" The turtle says, and Merida is slightly interested in the way it can talk; she's never heard a talking animal before.
"Um, yeah sure."
She edges over slowly, not sure what to do, but she picks it up by its shell and it retracts into it.
"Take me down to the water," it says just before she puts it down on the table and wraps a large scrap of material around it.
She gets stopped three times down the stairs and even her dad is suspicious about her carrying a large scrap of cloth, but they let her go without asking too much.
By the waterside, she unwraps the turtle and it stretches out again, pulling itself into the water.
It waves a flipper and she nods cautiously, but it swims off and afterwards, she goes back inside the castle.
