Ethan slammed his bedroom door open and threw his backpack on the floor all in one swift motion. Why did school have to be so torturous?
He sat down at his desk and turned on his computer, opening his web browser and clicking into a new tab. He opened his Spotify and put his favorite band, LANY on shuffle. When the opening notes poured from the speakers, he knew exactly what song it was. He laid down on his bed and closed his eyes, letting the music take over him as he slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
