17 - The Message Pain.

NAHID'S POV

I didn't know how to tell him. It was really hard for me to let him down with this news. I really like him as a person but I am just not ready for this yet.
He needs to know about what I'm going through.
'Assalam alaikum.' He replied.
'Walaikum as salaam. How're you? Haven't seen you in a while.' -N
'I'm fine, alhamdullillah. Yeah, been going through a tough schedule lately.' -A
'Oh, that's tiring for sure.'-N
'Uh, yeah. It indeed is. Soo what's up?' -A

We were stuck in an awkward situation for a while and I didn't know how to tell him.

'Everything's been just messy to be honest.. ' -N
'Ohh, darn. Is everything okay? You could trust me about it, I will not disappoint you.' -A
'Yeah, I mean, Life is all over the place. I just don't know what to do.' -N
'Oh, if it isn't too personal then you could share perhaps?'-A
'Well, it is personal but I think I can trust you. Soo, the problem is that I just recently went through with a guy and he cheated on me. I was so upset and I just barely got ahead of it and now my mom says she has a proposal for me. It's so frustrating. Why can't moms understand that it's too early? I'm not even 20 yet.' -N

ABDULLAH'S POV

I was just sitting, bored out of my mind. All this while, I had been eagerly for her reply after she said Hi. I didn't know what to expect, and as a result I was terrified.
But wow.
What came through was just shocking.
I didn't expect it to escalate that quickly.
Why didn't I think she could be dating someone else?
Why didn't I think straight?
Lesson learned. Never go blind for someone before analyzing all the angles.
I was shattered in pieces and I didn't know what to do.

'Oh. That is.. Surely depressing I guess. Uh, I don't know what to say ... I feel sorry for you. Um, so. Do you like the guy that your mom wants you to be with?' -A

I didn't know how it came out and I didn't know why. I just wanted to know.
'No way! I don't even know who the guy is. I walked out on my mother before she could even tell me who it is. I'm not ready for it. I need time. And .. About the ice-cream thing. I don't wanna disappoint you but can we postpone it for a while? I'm not ready for anything at the moment. I'm so sorry.'  -N

A ray of brightness shined into my life for a moment.
Thank God she isn't interested in that guy, atleast.
Otherwise, I wouldn't know what to do, tbh.

'Oh, okay. So you should go and talk it out to your mother about what you want to do, I guess. And yeah, sure. It's alrighr. I can wait, no problems at all! If you want me to lighten up your mood, I'd just send an ice-cream to your house instead? :)' -A

'Yeah, I'm gonna go talk to her about it. And haha, no thanks. I'd like to meet you and eat it, but at a later time :) thanks for understanding!' -N

'Sure, and You're always welcomed (:'-A
'You're cute :D okay I gtg now, I'll seeyou in school. Buhbye!' -N

Did she really just call me that?
That just did not happen?

Oh God. Someone calm my heart down. It's racing faster than the time clock is.
Ouch.
